Who would win?.....

aight so recently i watched an old that movie was one of my favs growing up called stand by me. (i know its old big whoop wanna fight about it?) one of the kids asked a question about who would win in a fight. might mouse or superman. i know its a random question but think about it. with only super strength and flight who would come out on top?

bmorr 12-14-2011 06:09 AM

seeing as how i never watched the mighty mouse cartoon, im kinda biased towards superman.

trebleshot 12-14-2011 07:09 AM

As much as I loved Mighty Mouse, Superman has too many other powers besides super strength and flight.

Point goes to the Kryptonian.

EDIT: Although if we limit it to just those two powers, I'd still say Kal El wins.

MegaPrime33 12-14-2011 09:13 AM

If they're equally matched in strength and flight, then the points go to superman for size and speed.

iLegends73 12-14-2011 09:46 AM

Yea but dont 4get, might mouse is smaller which means he's a harder target to hit. I gotta run with the worlds strongest pest

CLASSIFIED 12-14-2011 11:01 AM

I think Mighty Mouse would win if he had a special advantage over Superman.

But that's the rub - I don't they are equally matched. MM usually beats up on cats, humans and the occasional "little green men". Supes once dropped a mountain on the Hulk, a very large green man. He also punched a hole in an oil tanker like it was paper.

Just because Supes is a bigger target doesn't mean he'll go down any easier.

Tiberius 12-14-2011 12:38 PM

Superman. Even if it was an obvious Mighty Mouse win, I would still vote for Kal-El!

D00MTR0N 12-14-2011 01:08 PM

superman would.

Optimus Vader 12-14-2011 01:51 PM

Superman...

Stand by Me is one of the top five movies ever made.

I think they would battle it out to a draw and then probably become friends afterwards cause they're both good guys.

warmachine6 12-14-2011 02:18 PM

I thought that award went to John Leguizamo

bmorr 12-14-2011 04:12 PM

batman shows up and beats them both

iLegends73 12-15-2011 12:45 AM

ok we all know that mighty mouse is little and supes has went head up with the hulk. i was tryin to find some stuff on MM's power but couldnt come up with anything. he might be small but im pretty sure one gud punch would stumble kal but not knock him out, while one gud punch from him could maybe put MM in a full body cast lol. supes wont use his "full" power cause he's always worried about hurting ppl around him so they both have some flaws.

Tiberius 12-15-2011 12:48 AM

Mighty Mouse

As far as Mighty Mouse's powers beyond strength and speed/flight, it really depends on which era we pull from. Early on, he was a parody/copy of Superman, so he had all of the same powers Superman had at the time (early 1940's). Then later he got additional powers as the writers saw fit, only to lose them with the next incarnation of the character.

At one time, he also had a form of telekinesis and another power was the ability to manipulate his contrail like it was a solid, but flexible object.

I guess you could say the same thing about Superman: the scope and range of his powers all depend on what era you're pulling from.

I see where u goin with it. Ok lets say (to keep it somewhat relivent) superman is from his animated era and mighty mouse is from his remake era since he was drawn way bigger then he was when he was 1st introduced.

I would have to know how powerful each was in those respective eras before I could answer.
