lego Lines you'd like to see

A mythology set:

1) mt. olympius
2) hades (a skeleton for the boatman on the river styx
3) a pegisues (SP) flying horse
4) a huge maze set with a minatuer (half man half bull)

think of all the goddess and gods and otehr characters we could get, it would fiit in with knight, atlantis sets

could even add a thor (norse god of thunder) as an addition to the viking line

OK me and my freind were just talking about this,

Lego has made a come back on a lot of older lego lines like pirates and knights but the one I loved as a kid still has ye tto make a return. Which one?

SAMURAI AND NINJAS, they need to bring back the old castles and horses with small samurai and interchangeable helmet crests!

What do you think?!

scarecrow 10-02-2009 04:50 PM

Gundams. I've always wanted that. Not the megabloks crap. I'd love Metal Gear Solid but I can make those myself..

And this. A bunch.

sparkhunter 10-02-2009 06:49 PM

samuri would be cool
I'd like to see the western line get redone too..... a miner set, a saloon, maybe even a shoot out on an old western main street

trebleshot 10-02-2009 09:13 PM

Steampunk.

IcantBseriouS 10-02-2009 09:13 PM

Halo Legos

sparkhunter 10-03-2009 06:21 PM

unfortunatly the halo rights went to megablocks

steampunk would actually be pretty cool. They could do a lot with that concept.

ludovicotek 10-03-2009 06:34 PM

Samurai and Ninjas would be killer, too.

IcantBseriouS 10-03-2009 06:47 PM

Marvel Universe?

Shin Densetsu 10-03-2009 11:40 PM

Military, like jets, tanks, and helicopters. I've seen some BEAST MOC's online at brickshelf and other sites, INCREDIBLE MOC jets.

sparkhunter 10-05-2009 08:37 AM

unfortunatly Lego has stated in the past they will not do realilistic looking military toys (due to company believes) the closest will get is Indiana jones.

I think I'd like to see some sort of classical Greek and Roman set, or some more mythological sets. Lego already did Fafnir, Fenris and the Midgard serpent as part of the Viking line, and Harry Potter has had a few mythical beasts.

I would love to see an ancient Greek theme with warships and maybe a Trojan horse, or a Roman theme with a smug little Caesar leading his legions against smiley barbarian hordes.

Sadly though, I think Lego's days as an innovative toy company are over. All of my Clone Wars vehicles have warped pieces and explode if you touch them. I think it's nothing but cheap licensed crap and recycled 1980s lines from now on.

sparkhunter 10-14-2009 11:25 AM

not true the farm line is great and not recycled
the up coming atlantis line looks great too

While I agree that Lego has passed on structually sound sets for things that cost less, I feel that there is a lot of innovation coming from the company still. Like sparkhunter said, the Atlantis line is very cool and looks like a lot of fun, and Transformers still recycles the same old concepts over and over and remains great by and large. "Recycled" lines like Castle and Pirates are the best things that Lego has going for them.

sharke 10-14-2009 04:22 PM

more castle stuff but along the lines of the 80s stuff....

I'd like see some GI Joe stuff there...the fan stuff is amazing..
