Hot Toys Spider-Man and Sandman
 

i know for alot of spiderman 3 never happend. but this set is...in the words of rick ross...bawse

WOW!!!! I am sold. I wonder how they addressed the switchout head issue? I guess they did fabric over a molded neck and knew that the seem between the neck and head would not show up on the black suit like it would have on the original red and blue one. I think they are going to do a DX red and blue with a switchout head later though.

im a big fan of the black spiderman and this does it for me :) really really nice

That Sandman base is sweet. I haven't picked up a Spider-man for my hot toys collection yet...but I definately want that base. I think I'll pick up the base off evil-bay once I have my Red and Blue Spidey.

I seen these pics on hottoys page on FB earlier today. I love that sandman base, and overall not a bad looking figure. The headsculpt is dead-on and this does look better then the red/blue version that came out.

will we see a venom?

They'll probably sell the base separate too.. I know with the Iron Man w/suit up gantry, you could get them both or just the gantry

I'm kinda shocked they're still making Spidey 3 anything!
I guess they want io use the liscence while they have it or something...

This looks amazing...but the movie was not.

I think the figure looks great and I do feel that the Sandman base added alot of value to the overall figure. The shot with the Spider Man standing on the arm of the Sandman looks very sweet. This is now just another REPAINT as the black spider man really appeared in the movie and this beats many of the IRON MAN repaints that never really made it to the movie screen. Worth buying in my opinion.

I doubt that the Base will be available seperately, though I do hope it will. The Iron Man Gantry was very expensive at more then 400 dollars if i remember correctly and I believe that was why the option to purchase the gantry seperately was made available.

For the Hot Toys Black Spider Man, prices on Sideshow Collectibles are in the 200 dollar range so I believe that for this price it comes with both the figure and the diorama.
