IGN Marvel Universe interview
|
Suh-weet.
The helicarrier I hope will be one eventually, but so long as the accuracy is there. Any would be nice additions. |
Fantastic-Car, X-Jet, X-Velocity, Quinjet, Punisher's Van, Bucky's Bike, and whatever else.

Don't forget the Cap cycle from the 70s movie either. Or the MoonKnight equipment. (Moon jet specificly)
Then there are several fantasticars too, the spiderman spaceship/mech and car, the Ironman exo-suits, the classic cap bike with sidecar, shield dropships, Hydra saucer carrier, AIM's space station. Etc. |
We're only 6 posts in at this point... And I can already tell we're gonna be tough to please! Haha, but yeah, Mooncopter for sure... Helicarriers, and then we'll want to progress to Avengers towers, Dangerroom... This has a lot of potential.

Awesome to bad i need to get the digital comics, can't find any stores nearby,
Things im looking forward to are X-Jet, Helicarrier, Moonknight stuff,Punisher Van,and anything else i can think of later |
What about build a base options? They could be sold with or without figures. small plastic panels that can join together.
|
I'm really wishing we could get some bad guys in there. And not just thugs and lower tear bad guys but the real deal.

Doom's throne room complete with Doombots and time machine.

Dooms throne room I'd love to see too, as well as the amazing friends apartment, complete with hidden computers lol. And let's not forget about some kind of BTR Tony Stark Armory. ;) For now I'd just settle for a real X-force X-23 already though. And hopefully a Selena Gomez inspired one to start pressing that idea to falcon to present for some kind of movie or tv movie, or even just a Lifetime movie with figure tie-in. (If they can do Blood ties, they can do an X-23 flick. xD) |

The whole playset or vehicle discussion got me to thinking of another way to "branch out" MU. The whole deluxe idea with XMO line could work with MU. You know a figure with a small accessory. Here's some quick ideas I had thought of today. Professor X with a wheelchair, Ghost Rider with his bike{kinda like the Logan and bike set}, and how about Kazar and Zabu or Kitty Pryde with Lockheed{after all collectors would love them and kids would love the whole sabertooth tiger and dragon. a win-win for Hasbro}. These are just some quick ideas for deluxe sets maybe even go so far as to give us the secret identities like a Iron Man and Tony Stark set or such.

And yeah like the joe sets with bikes too, or even like toybiz SHS did with ghost rider. But also why not street clothes amazing friends each with a third of the apartment that can combine to make theirs. Among however else it could be adapted for BAF/Deluxe sets too. Like wolvie and his chamber, then why not the dock and the control panel. Ironman with exosuit, stark with ironman, rhodey with war machine (swappable ehads for added plus!). Gwenstacy with green goblin or bridge piece rescue thingy >.> Elektra with cathedral window. Since it's a bit late for DD. The ideas could go on and on. And a definite plus would be universal compatibility for the accessories to build on each other. |

Punisher Van would be cool. The only Figure that needs a motorcycle is Ghost Rider as far as I am concerned HOWEVER, if they feel they must...I'd vote for Capt. America's moto, then Blade, then Team America (they all had motorcycles)!
As for other vehicles. I'd love a build a vehicle "Ship" from the old X-factor days. But that will never happen so I'd vote for that UFO Fantomex. Honestly there aren't many great Marvel vehicles out there. I mean GR has a cycle and a few others but there is very little in the of cool vehicles. Perhaps the Avengers Quinjet or that Hovercycle thing that Hawkeye drove. I think Deathlok had a similar vehicle and so did that future Peace Offcie dude from back in the 80's Fantastic Four (I forgot his name). I would leave off Iron Man and Spidey vehicles and let them be done in their respective line (although Spidey vehicles have always been ultra lame). Come to think of it, there will undoubtedly be a Captain America line (yeah!) and an Avengers line to coincide with their movies as well so you can push that out. With so many great characters I think Marvel would be better off fore-going vehicles and create multi-figure playset packs ala the GI Joe 7 packs (Defense of Cobra Island for example). They could easily create a Dark Avengers set, Avengers set, Young Avengers, X-Men, FF, etc. and could even get interesting and create a bunch of clamored for Fanboy sets like the Marauders, New Warriors, Horsemen of Apocalypse, House of M, an all Skrull headed version set, Marvel Zombies, X-Force, etc. *sigh* Now I am stoked for figures that aren't coming. |
