Are these statues or articulated figures? Looks nice.

The blue one is a plastic statue-esque figure, the one in suit is a fully articulated figure.

jimsloth 12-29-2011 12:03 PM

What's the scale on that suit? Any chance it's around Joe/MU scale?

1/8 scale static PVC figure of Zero Suit Samus found a few related articles below.

Ooooh. Just when I thought I got out, they pull me back in. I just sold a bunch of my Figmas (keeping only the really good ones), but I gotta get that Samus. I totally forgot about her. Hopefully we get an articulated Figma Samus sans armour, like that blue statue.

Jason Abbadon 12-29-2011 04:59 PM

If the suited figure is static...that's pretty damn weak...but you could, with work, cut it apart and put it onto a Revlotech buck in the same scale...I guess.
Looks good but no articulation is a killer for me.

so tired of waiting for that figma samus. Hope it's out soon, though the lack of preorders is annoying.

Also hoping the license means we'll get a skyward sword Link as well.

The suited figure is FULLY articulated. I collect both figmas and Revoltechs. They're similar, but figma joints are smoother and tighter and don't wear like Revo joints do. Plus you avoid the clicking. But both do their job: holding mild to extreme poses with ease.

It'll be expensive though, but I'm accustomed to shelling out $30+ for these imports nowadays.

Funny thing is it's probably a good thing if you can't tell if a hyper articulated figure is a statue or not. :)

Jason Abbadon 12-30-2011 08:40 AM

If it's articulated it's pretty worthwhile...but yeah, prcey.

I wish it was 1:18th and cheap- that suit is perfect advanced Mandroid armor from Marvel!
