How did this happen?

Marvel Universe Series 2 VISION 006 Regular Color Version MOMC In Hand | eBay

'nuff said

Falconhood 01-18-2012 04:00 AM

That's ridiculous. I give up on him, since i have a great ML version, and since Hasbro will return to the ML scale this year.

iLegends73 01-18-2012 04:16 AM

i feel the same way. i cant even justify paying that much for a ML deadpool MOC. that much for a 3.75 inch figure is just outta hand

looks like it was a Buy it now

iLegends73 01-18-2012 04:30 AM

now that u say that it does. the seller must either be a collector himself and wanted to help out someone else ( which i doubt) or......has a slight case of brain damage

wolverine2281 01-18-2012 04:33 AM

I go for the latter. He even says how rare it is. Very odd

iLegends73 01-18-2012 04:51 AM

Is there really that much of a difference between paying that much for a 6" and paying that much for a 3.75"?

iLegends73 01-18-2012 05:56 AM

in my eyes yea. im not saying i would pay it but i would take a 6inch for that price over a 3.75 one any day.

WalkingDeadpool 01-18-2012 07:13 AM

Idk I paid 100 for my X-force Archangel, and just paid 95 for my Nick Fury..Call me crazy..

quinten182 01-18-2012 07:48 AM

Everyone does realize that this is now a NEW variant of Vision right?

Seems like everyone is just baffled by the cost, which is insane I agree, but this is a first sighting of regular colored vision in the revision waves packaging. Just making sure that wasn't overlooked because of the price. :P

Lol, the term is 'solid', this isn't the 1950's. ;)

That makes no sense. I don't think that people who are paying $100 to have it MOC are intending to play with it, and playing with it is the only reason a 6" toy would be more valuable than a 3.75". If you're collecting, it doesn't matter what size the item is, just it's overall rarity and value in the eyes of the collecting community.

Umm, I can't see any difference in the packaging, and I don't think Vision is listed in any of the current rev packs...

As a completist I got a bbaaaaaaaaddddd feeling..............

D Day 01-18-2012 08:09 AM

Even if there was a theoretical Vision that was gonna come out in a revision, I have every assurance that I'd never see it at retail, I never saw the electro revision wave, and I'd never see the vision wave.

Dickhole scalpers would be too busy trying to fuck real collectors and statch those things up before they even got on the shelves.

I swear some of these assholes must be on mission impossible status dropping in through the roof in the middle of the night with all kinds of ropes and shit to snatch up all the best toys. pisses me off.

behindthemask 01-18-2012 08:16 AM

Vision is an awesome figure, short runned and distrubuted which leads to a high selling price, character demand + good overall figure = $$$ for scalpers. Blade, havok variant, norman osbourne variant, cable with hope, dr strange astral variant, xforce warpath, and vision are all awesome figures, characters and due to the distrubutions they're all $40-50 + which for some ppl is a 4-500% markup from retail. that $140 vision is like 1000% profit, unless buddy bought it for 70-80 and is trying to make some $$.

D00MTR0N 01-18-2012 08:39 AM

the funny thing is that figure isnt even that cool imo.

It blows. I have a moc clear/phasing version in my sales/trade thread if anyone wants it.

cellardoor 01-18-2012 09:21 AM

No $10 figure is ever worth 10 times it's value. Ever.
This figure uses the crummy old body type as well so anyone chasing this and paying lots for it is likely getting a bonus amount of buyer's remorse at the same time.
