At first I didn't care much for Daken. I'm not really a huge Wolverine fan and wasn't excited about another guy with claws. But as I read Dark Avengers he started to grow on me. I started reading his ongoing and liked the fact that he didn't really wear a costume. And then he went and got one. lol But when I saw the cast on SDS I knew I had to pick it up and put one together.

The lumberjack body was perfect for his somewhat lanky build and more casual attire. And I just really liked the way the head looked on it. I contemplated for a couple months what color to paint the shirt before finally deciding to leave it. I couldn't decide on the forearm claw either, so I went ahead and left it off for now, until I find something appropriate for it. Even got the tattoo added, which luckily with the sleeves wasn't much to add.
