U.S. Post Office Rate Increases
 

Not sure if everyone noticed, but effective 01/22/2012 the US Post Office increased shipping rates quite substantially for Parcel Post (among other services).

As just one anecdote, I frequently ship via Parcel Post with Delivery Confirmation, and suddenly shipping rates are approx. $1.80-$2.40 more expensive per parcel, on average.

I may have to start thinking about giving UPS Ground a second chance, for both outgoing & incoming deliveries. :rolleyes:
