Walmart YOU SUCK!

MORONS!!!!
IMBECILES!!!
IDIOTS!!!!

Sorry I'm livid right now because I found out one of the Walmarts that dumped MU & Joe did it again.
They had Namor for $5. I couldn't find any other in the mess that was the clearance aisles.
They also put Joes for $3.50. Nothing but wave 1 Renegades. I found most of them and put them back in the regular aisle to spite them.
This was the Walmart where I took back lots of pegwarmers. Eventually they gave in & restocked those lines normally. Well I guess they will be getting tons of pegwarmers again.
They also pulled out tons of RoC Joe females out of nowhere. Seriously they find these in the back room AFTER Xmas!!! Then they have the gaul to mark them at $7!!!
They also have the Sentinel for regular priced "clearance."

bmorr 02-01-2012 07:45 PM

this is happening everywhere. only the larger stores are probably going to carry them. Do you happen to live in a area with more than one store? How about target?

Exodus 02-01-2012 07:47 PM

Ya they do suck...in my area we have 2 within a 10 mile radius...and they have crap for MU.

bmorr 02-01-2012 07:49 PM

yeah ive got one left here thatll hopefully stock. im hoping ill find something new friday.

name 02-01-2012 08:04 PM

they only ever get in revision waves around here. i gave up on retail and only get MU through my LCS now. the mark up isnt too bad when i choose to purchase them in waves and not individually.

if i end up missing out targets are the only "sure thing"

MarvelTF918 02-01-2012 08:06 PM

I guess 2012 is the end... of Wal-Mart MU.
One of my local Wal-Marts has done this also.
It's not like the figures just sat there.
There actually weren't any shelfwarmers there.

Toecutter 02-01-2012 08:12 PM

There are a few WM's in my area and I cant remember when they had any new MU. Only one carries GI Joe and they have not restocked since last october.

We hunt the same grounds, odd we havent met lol! Only 2 "area" Walmarts are worth stopping at. Randall rd and Kirk rd. Kirk has the better clearance section. MU has been drying up at both, though the Randall store has been my Joe hotspot.

KingLouie731 02-01-2012 08:16 PM

An employee mentioned that they were redoing the layouts and should have the new stock in store and in place by Feb 5th. not sure if that was only for that store or all Walmarts

It is a Super Walmart.
I suppose I'm lucky I live in a urban area so there are more Walmarts than that one. It just really aggravates me. It is one less place to hunt. I found the latest Joes there. I bought those out. So it really isn't sales which drives the decision.

D00MTR0N 02-01-2012 08:22 PM

no surprise here.

flipwilson 02-01-2012 08:57 PM

Keep this anti-walmart shit over on hisstank. I find everything I want at walmart. Sorry yours sucks. It's why we've got trade threads, good sir.

JustryGT 02-01-2012 09:09 PM

I was told by toy department managers at 2 different WM stores that if those items don't sell well then their system automatically removes them from the reorder list.
I think that is a load of crap because they never had more than one case at a time since the line started . So how could they know the selling potential if they never gave it a chance? If they would have offered more from the beginning, then maybe local collectors would have had a reason to go there.

Tiberius 02-01-2012 09:12 PM

Well...if Skynet says so I guess eh....

I vote we make a "ranting" section on the boards, =3.

MeLikeJinx 02-01-2012 10:52 PM

Only now you realize this? LOL. My closest Walmart stopped carrying MU for like 2 years I think and they stopped carrying Joes since POC wave 2. Every now and then they bust out a fresh case of IM2 figs though (the Deep Dive Armor wave). LOL.

scottmurdock 02-01-2012 11:10 PM

My WM just stopped stocking MU :(

M3T4L V1KING 02-01-2012 11:28 PM

My and Tiberius' WM has a a crap ton of the Doc Strange wave... But we've been getting somewhat newer Comic pack figs so it isn't all that bad.

cabrican 02-01-2012 11:36 PM

The Walmarts and Targets in my town all carry MU but i haven't seen any new figures in months. I have not seen GI Joes in a very long time and rarely find DCU at Walmart.
I dont even bother going to TRU.

quipp209 02-02-2012 01:17 AM

I got a text today while I was in class my friend said the Walmart in my area had sentinels for $30 but when i got there , there were none left.... N Walmart is crappy I go there n look for mu figures n there shelfs are always empty n there employees r not even trained good enough to search for stuff in the back

Veronica Mars 02-02-2012 02:25 AM

There's one out of six in my area that stocks MU

warmachine6 02-02-2012 04:10 AM

only thing i hate about walmart and tagert is that i cannot get the 6inch movie figures i.e ironman and warmachine here in the UK i need to go on ebay just to get them , and are normally at silly prices :( but some they are okay on ebay :)

CLASSIFIED 02-02-2012 04:52 AM

If Wal Mart sucked as much as you say then I never would have broken up with them.

Galaxy Ranger 02-02-2012 05:11 AM

1 out of 5 stocks them by me.

gogorobo 02-02-2012 06:24 AM

my supercenter stopped carrying MU and Joe but the regular store still stocks both regularly

atomicsmurf 02-02-2012 06:57 AM

The closest walmart to me doesn't stock anything except transforms/movie cap/ and movie thor. I asked them about getting GI Joe's in and they said "only the super walmarts carry those".

Went to the main walmart page the other day and sent in a request that this walmart stock some GI Joes. Maybe it will work.

Luckily there's two other walmarts in my area -- too bad the traffic is horrible to get to them. :(
