Spidey's eyes seem to have a slight gold tint to them in the new movie. For some reason the toy and figure makers are interpreting that as orange.

im not certain but i think in the movie his eye pieces have a tint to them much like ski goggles or bright environment eye wear. why they picked the orange side of the spectrum i really do not know...

this isnt the first amazing spider man merchandise to be seen with the orange eyes
