Toyark.com crashing my browser
 

It's IE 6.0.2900.5512.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236CO. Crashes after about five minutes. :(

Try and run windows update and install everything it recommends. If that doesn't work, try and upgrade to IE7 or use FireFox 3.

FYI - If you dont have IE7 and don't want it, then deselect it from windows update.

Crap, I can't do any updates on my work PC. No admin access. :(

Doh! Well if you dont have admin rights then you probably can't install firefox, but you may wanna give that a shot, or even Chrome. And then yell at your IT department for not having another internet browser on your computer AND not having IE7.

What I need to do is find a work-related site that crashes the browser. Then I can open a trouble ticket. :p

Honestly, I'm surprised your IT department hasn't pushed IE7 across your network.

Same thing was happening for me today at work Foster, it might be the google ads, will PM Tony.

As a side note, there is no reason for an upgrade to IE7 if windows updates are installed, in fact IE7 is not compatible with some web based applications in some environments.
