A bit of help anyone?

I found this picture of Monica Rambeau

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2..._Rambeau-1.png

Does anyone have any ideas for the sleeves that doesn't use cloth or loose the articulation in the arms

warmachine6 02-14-2012 04:36 AM

you could use soem flexiable plastic if you can get some but there isnt anyhting wrong with using cloth :L for articulation you are better off using cloth im afraid you a bit asking much here :P but thats all i can say really.

Dagger 02-14-2012 05:22 AM

I've seen others use balloons.

proteus 02-14-2012 05:37 AM

Im absolutely clueless on that sorry,id say use something really fine though muslin or silk maybe,to get it to lie properly....

trebleshot 02-14-2012 10:16 AM

You could modify Darkhawk's or Falcon's wings. They only clip at the wrist, so it wouldn't interfere with the elbow or shoulder movement. The downside is that they would always be "deployed" (for lack of a better word). Or you could mod classic Storm's.

Otherwise, I think your best bet would be to with what Proteus suggested. You can also post this question in the Radicons section over at TFW.

Maybe go with vinyl for outdoor banners- you'd have to anchor it in a couple of places to the upper and lower arms but if you give it extra material, it should move more like cloth than static parts like Falcon/DH wings.
I've been playing with it for a Manta custom.

I love that outfit and wish they'd bring her back to the Avengers! Comics seem to have some unwritten rule aganst having two black women in a team, which is stupid- Photon and Storm would kick ass together!

behindthemask 02-14-2012 12:02 PM

I think you could use some pipe cleaners, napkins lol, I dunno , really should be cloth, with fabric glue to adhere on certain spots, or modify storm's arm bandit things.

I think you could possibly use the lower arms from one of the Padme figures (those seem to have billowing sleeves) and just attached to the upper arms.

i came across this picture and seems to me they used storms plasticy cape thing for her

Thats indeed Photon aka Monica Rambeau

EDIT: Hm looks like thats not what you were asking lol misunderstood the question, er I should have scrolled up to the top of the thread lol

bmorr 02-15-2012 07:18 AM

you could always heavily modify spiderwomans spider-wings.

Jason Abbadon 02-20-2012 01:20 PM

What are you doing for her head?
