Journey into Mystery
 

I have this craving for this series. I picked up the Thor Marvel Masterworks back in October and I was hooked. Each issue held a new mystery (no pun intended) as I read it devouring it with my eyes. I was hooked. I had picked up a couple of Thor Issues from the 60's and loved them even thought I am not a modern Thor Fan but then it happened. I found some of these books at my LCS and had to pick up a few thinking it might stop my cravings. Then I bought book two and three of the Masterworks enjoying it more and more. I had to have more and more. But the problem is these are old books and costs quite a bit. I am trying to rebuy issues in the 80's and 90's I used to own and also fill my Avengers run. So I went cheap and decided that the Masterworks was the way to go. I did grab one and put into my box for later. Issue 112, Hulk vs Thor. It takes place during Avengers 3 so I get both fixes.

And then it happened. The owner of Four Color Fantasies rotates out the stock of what is in the case each week and puts new stuff in. Three weeks ago I walk in on Friday to get some stuff and the new books are out. Sitting in the case are ten issues of Journey, so I get excited even though I have seen them before and there is this old guy looking in the case. THEN HE BOUGHT TWO ISSUES. I nearly died right there. As soon as he was gone, bamm they all went into my box. Like Gollum I must have my precious.

I know it is a long story but it was a set up for what I got today
