Super_Megatron 11-10-2009 05:49 PM

Looking forward to seeing the painted versions of these, very promising.

Prem1x 11-10-2009 06:45 PM

Pretty neat. I wonder if Enchantress' hands are really going to be casted black then painted.

flywheels 11-10-2009 07:19 PM

Hawkeye looks great!

Snowflakian 11-10-2009 08:54 PM

Can't wait for hawkeye, ultron and reed already.

Mmm, so can't wait for ultron's body for customs too. Oh the yumminess that will come from that.

Looking backwards would be better. They were on display at SDCC fully painted.

Well they always look nice at SDCC but the finish product is not as good. I hope we get some decent painted figs for this wave though.

Those weren't production figures.

Yep

megatronkicksas 11-11-2009 09:43 AM

Cha-Ching.

scarecrow 11-11-2009 01:03 PM

Need to see Ultron...

xhavoc86 11-11-2009 06:20 PM

I wanted to see Storm with the mohawk!!!

Enchantress and Hawkeye look awesome though lol

Ash Talon 11-11-2009 06:38 PM

Does Hawkeye reuse part of the DD body? It's hard to tell with the added pieces. Certainly, he's got new hands and boots. I hope it's a new body, since the DD body is too short.

Nevermind, looks like he's using the Namor body.

This wave looks awesome. Mine only gripes? Reed using the mentioned DD body. Johnny should not be taller than Reed. And Enchantress doesn't have elbow swivels. Other than that, great character selections. Six characters new to MU in one wave! Awesome!

The Hawkeye body actually looks like Guardian's body. Namor is smaller in size.

Snowflakian 11-11-2009 08:32 PM

These just can't come fast enough. I'm going to end up buying so many ultrons. And that hawkeye will finally round out my dark avengers.

Mmmm soon Doom 2099 will be mine, soon indeed.

Marvel Universe screw-ups

I hope, really really hope that they stop screwing up the legs on these figures. Has anyone else noticed that Magneto's calf part of his legs are placed incorrectly. I mean my Thunderball has 2 left feet and both of his legs have the same lefty calf part on them. I HATE IT. I have even seen these problems where people have reviewed the figures and alot of these figures are messed up. Come on Hasbro, where is the quality control...I mean they had a pretty good year right? ;P

Guardian and Namor use the same exact body, except for the lower legs, forearms, and head.

Funny you mention that. When I bought my SDCC Invaders Pack my Namor came with two left feet!Who knew the Prince of Atlantis was inbred?

I would expect SW to have mistakes like that because I personally don't think the quality is very good (you are getting two toys and comic, so they kinda cheap out on you)

But I was very disapointed to see that an EXCLUSIVE had such a big mistake.

cinemajay 11-12-2009 02:52 PM

Seems like Thor should be bigger. For someone who can take on Hulk, he's tiny!

That's what makes their battles so epic. Thor the size of a man, but he's the thunder god. So sorta wrestler ish size. Versus the hulk, who's monstrous.

When he swings that hammer though for that epic uppercut in the ultimates movie, it's just whoa for that reason. Granted this is classic 616 thor, he never really was much bigger than piledriver or so, give or take a bit towards shorter.

Hulk vs Thor is a better size estimate for 616, but I can't really recall any particular scenes from it that are noteworthy.

nitewing73 11-13-2009 03:52 PM

Totally digging that Hawkeye. I may actually get that set.

1337W422102 11-18-2009 06:21 PM

SO getting that Thor and Enchantress.

xhavoc86 11-20-2009 02:23 PM

There's a picutre of the figures all ready and done on wiki...I don't know how to post pictures so just look up Marvel Universe toyline and you can see it there if you scroll down

It shows Ultron and Mr. Fantastic as well!

scarecrow 11-20-2009 04:13 PM

Yes! Ultron slated for December :D

trebleshot 11-23-2009 11:17 AM

I just hope with all this talk of customizing Ultron that he will be in ample supply so I can get two (one to stay normal, the other to custom along with Reed).

Those are still prototypes, which is the same thing we saw at SDCC. Even so, I hope they look half as good as those pics.
