Sub Zero or Scorpion?
 

Just want to see who everyone thinks is the better,bigger badass ninja,sub zero or scorpion?

I personally like scorpion ..

I have to go with sub zero,but then again there is the question of which sub zero being there are 2 of them.

Scorpion all the way. That's not to say I dislike Sub-Zero but Scorpion is my favorite.

perhaps the better question would be is kuai liang(yonger sub zero) more of as badass or bi-han(older sub zero)?

I was tyring to see what you all thought about all around skill more then who your favorite is.

Skill-wise, probably Bi-Han. He did kill Scorpion first and it took demon possession and returning from the dead for Scorpion to return the favor.

On the other hand, Scorpion is (now) demonic so in terms of raw power he would win. And that's not a knock against his fighting skills, which are impressive in their own right.

So I would say probably a tie. As for my favorite, it's a tough choice but I have to go with Sub-Zero.

at the end of the clip they show sub zero morph into (I forgot his name)so really scorpion was tricked into thinking sub zero did everything to his family but it really wasnt him,im not sure this new mortal kombat legacy follows the original MK storyline,wtf,now im confused,anyone shed some light on this?

I personally like Scorpion. I think that he and Bi Han are evenly matched in terms of skill though. The only reason I think why he lost the first time to Bi Han was because of the ice powers. Hanzo didn't have his fire mastery back then.

Question though. Which is canon to the storyline, did Bi Han himself actually kill Hanzo (MK1) or was it Quan Chi as Bi Han (MK Legacy)?

Mortal Kombat: Legacy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It started off as mortal kombat rebirth. Director kevin tancharoen directed short 8 minute clips with actor friends and put some mk clips together and submitted them to warner bros going they would give him permission to reboot the series.

Most of the episodes can be found on youtube or machinima.com. I'm in favor for it and I've seen most of them. The scorpion story is good.

My vote is sub zero. I'm a fan of the whole ice manipulation.

I'm a big fan of Legacy as well. I hope it leads to a new TV series or feature film. Well, as long as they stick with Legacy's setup, that is.

In the original storyline from the first couple of games, Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) killed Scorpion's family due to a rivalry between their ninja clans. In subsequent games and media, it was retconned that Quan Chi killed them and manipulated Scorpion into believing it was Bi-Han and the Lin Kuei.

Also, in some media Bi-Han became Noob Saibot after his death due to his damned soul.

I believe the director for rebirth and legacy were granted the green light from warner bros and they will redo a new mk movie. I think I saw it on g4 where they announced it. The webisodes are supposed to be released as a dvd/blu ray with all of the 8 minute clips of most of the characters.

I started watching the episode D00MTRON posted, thought it was pretty cool, so I stopped it so I could start at episode one after lunch.

Scorpion for sure but my favorite is Sub-Zero.

I thought these dvd end holders would be appropriate to post. The detail on these is great.

Sub Zero, he's probably my favorite of all the ninjas.

Sub Zero > Rain > Ermac > Noob > Scorpion > Smoke > Reptile

Now I want to find a loose cyborg smoke and paint him for a cyber sub zero.

It came with the the deluxe version of MK9," Kollector's edition", I believe they called it , came with the bookends , extra costumes,unlockables and an artbook I believe. There was a more expensive version as well that came with a light up arcade pad.

As for the question itself. I believe it depends on who lands the first blow, 1 controls ice and water the other controls heat and fire, neither 1 of them is good in excess ie frozen skull or flaming skull. I call it a draw, however subzero is my favorite ninja.
