Thats a great Black Widow. Is this the one they're going to release for The Avengers?

Talisman 02-23-2012 07:05 PM

The Don Cheadle/Rhodey likeness is spot-on, Robert Downey, Jr./Tony Stark is close enough, but ScarJo/Black Widow is just... EUGH.

NoodleChow 02-23-2012 07:07 PM

new one looks like a new mold entirely. wish they'd release this set someday even as a HTS exclusive or something.

It doesn't look like the actress, but it is a good head sculpt for the character.

That looks like the actress.

Right down to the camel toe...

Made you look!

Iceman 02-23-2012 07:14 PM

I just want Tony Stark in a suit. One of the few Marvel characters that I want an out of costume version of. Tony just does so much outside of the armor.

I think alot of people would agree with you. I'd just make one out of another figure though.... I doubt they'll release Stark in a regular suit.

yup. unless they release an alternate stark head in the avengers line or an IM3 line, prolly have to get a sculpt from someone, sculpt it yourself, or fix up a passable head. hoping the upcoming prof x isn't as bad as i think and the body can be used. that or maybe the MIB3 figures but those look a bit too bulky.

saw someone else use this head and had an extra to fix up. and i shoulda bought more face figures. 4.99 - 5.99 was a steal back then.

flipwilson 02-23-2012 08:08 PM

So, we've got Dante from "Clerks", Katey Segal, and Gary Coleman?

Odd...

cainraw 02-23-2012 08:53 PM

I think those MIB3 figures coming soon are everyones best bet for a suited up Stark

bmorr 02-23-2012 08:55 PM

huh, figures. they finally made a stealth iron man that actually tried to look invisible. and they cancelled it. thanks. i dont much care for the other ones.

Starscream99 02-23-2012 08:59 PM

That set would've been nice to have.

jjk1120 02-23-2012 10:07 PM

Would've loved that set...

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Is that you?

NoodleChow 02-23-2012 11:47 PM

ohohoho, someone stop him from building a nuclear reactor in his chest!

if hasbro is doing head variants of thor and cap, i think they could easily make a cool RDJ head as a variant for one of those random iron men.

Dude, I had to, just LOOK at him! You immortalized him in 3.75 form!
Now all you need is a scale G.W.Bush jr. and shoe, and you're all set!

I hope you're right about the alt heads though, not enough good official 3.75 actor heads out there.

NoodleChow 02-24-2012 12:00 AM

hahaha all i see is obiwan with black hair, until now that is. even the no tie and grey suit is a dead ringer.

but yeah man, all i want is an unmasked stark head that isn't a mustachio'd multiple man. a RDJ head from IM3 or avengers would just be tops.

Jason Abbadon 02-24-2012 12:06 AM

Get the Tony head from Glassman- it's a shrunk-down cast of the ML two pack.

You just made me realize now that the new Iron man head, is multiple man with a moustache... I really hope they don't make that a what if comic.

Also Jason has a point.

Panthro1978 02-24-2012 05:08 AM

I need a Black Widow for my 3.75" Avengers but I'm waiting for a movie version to pop up on these shores.

Jason Abbadon 02-24-2012 08:22 AM

Yeah, we all are- The Mu version looks good as a generic female head, but nothing like the Black Widow, really.

jjk1120 02-24-2012 09:30 PM

I hope Hasbro cancels more figures I'm really looking forward to. Maybe they can let the air out of my tires and tie my shoelaces together, too...

Jason Abbadon 02-24-2012 11:43 PM

Dont be disapointed- that Rhodey head looks just like the actor but is waaay to big- looks like a bobble head.
Imagine a helmet on that melon (on that sized body) and you'll see what I mean.

Too bad about the Widow- lose the wrist-blasters and that would make a nice Viper or generic female SHIELD agent.

I am excited that you actually found this set in TJmaxx.
I ordered a casting of that Tony Stark head last year. I am still waiting for it. I was on a long list . I will be checking Marshalls and TJmaxx on a regular basis now.
