Iron Man Marvel Legends 2012 Images
ToyArk.com is proud to present our Third Marvel Legends figure "Iron Man", in an on-going photo review series of the Wave 1 Marvel Legends 2012 Terrax Series action figures. Marvel Legends 2012 Iron Man Terrax Series |
Very cool figure. I just picked him up yesterday and really like some of the improvements in articulation range. The hips and ankles suffer a bit due to the armors sculpt, but he can fully look up and arch his back in a much more "flight friendly" pose.
Great details help an otherwise minimalistic armor look more real and techy. I like the liottle blurd at the bottom stating the various weapons arrays that Stark has implemented over the years. They left out the most awesome feature of all armors of all time: the roller skates in his original red and gold armor! http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m422/hankbig/im.jpg |
I'm waiting on the stealth version from PP soon it shall be mine, and I'm gonna try and get him either in a flight pose or a repulsar blast pose.

I have to agree other than size and some lack of articulation it is a good fig. Doesn't feel too small once you open it.
The big issue with this new ml is the scale some figs are too big some too small. The good thing they have different bodies unlike DCU. |
I need my twin repulsor blast hands...
|
He is so... small.
Put him next to the Rogers fig and whoever is inside that suit must be a string bean. I think I'm gonna stick with the Iron Man The Armored Avenger Mark III & Mark VI versions with interchangeable hands, but admittedly even these too are a tad on the small side. Anybody have a side-by-side of the new Marvel Legends with the 6-inch Iron Man The Armored Avenger versions? |
While I think he's too small for a guy in a suit of armor my biggest gripe with him is the lack of motion he has in his hips.
|
I got the variant one, had to exchange my 1st due to having to of the same thigh WTF.
Anyways it might be the same size as the TRU 2 pack Classic Iron Man from late 2010 or so. That figure, based on the same comic design that the 1st Toybiz ML Iron Man was based on, made the Toybiz Iron Man look chunky as hell. Towards the later years, Toybiz made slimmer Iron Man molds like the Modern Armor. Wonder how Extremis compares to that in overall size? |
