Favorite Comic ?
 

Hey everyone just wanted to get to know the forum peeps a little better, And what better way to do that then ask a question. So whats your Favorite Comic Series, Book, Cover, Artist, Etc. and so on bring up anything. My favorite series would have to be Marvel Zombies on the fact that I love zombies

I would say Avengers 1st series pre-300. My most favorite issue would be Avengers 58. It was a good book and the final page of art shows some very nice emotion. "Even and Android can Cry" Roy Thomas wrote it, John Buscema pencilled it and George Klien Inked it. Nice book and if you are a Vision fan it should be one of the top two books to get (Avengers 57 first appearance is the first). Nice read read all the way through and shows why artists back then own most modern artists today.

Love Uncanny X-Force and most X-stuff. One of my all time favorites is the first Ultimates series. Had never really known much about the Avengers before that and it was a great introduction with great art.

The Preacher, written by Garth Ennis. That story kept me engaged the entire time.

I am REALLY digging Swamp Thing, Animal Man and I, Vampire. All new 52.

That's such a hard open Q. So much to list. I'll just throw out a few.

Favorite ongoing series is "INVINCIBLE".

Fantastic Four, FF, and SHIELD. The last couple of years have seriously been better than Fantastic Four has EVER been.

Glad to see I got some responses, Runaways, Invincible Preacher lots of good series in here, Any good first appreances you guys/gals think I should be on the lookout for. I just started collecting again and would like to get back on the wagon. Any help would be great

Too many things for me to list for all the different reads I enjoyed...and I'm sure I've listed them multiple times on other relevant threads.

I'm going to check out the New 52 Batman soon. My buddy is taking me to a Beer Fest on Saturday at a brewery that happens to be across the street from a comic shop. I might pick up issue #1.

I got a 10gb file of avengers comics. The first 400 or so. I'm gonna start reading. It's really cool to see how the art was in say, avengers number 1. then look at 350

I love the walking dead at the moment,a great read.Not really following much by way of marvel at the minute maybe some AvX.But some personal fav's of mine are the Martha washington series,The Pro and battlepope.

Uncanny X Force, the new one and the version of the team Cyclops was running.

My favorite comic and character is Green Lantern. I am also a big fan of Thor and the Hulk but I do not currently read their books. And even though the comics are hit or miss, my favorite things out of all media are the Aliens and Predators.

Favorite writer... I don't know honestly. That is one I have never really thought about. Favorite artist is an easy one though, Alex Ross. That man is simply amazing.

I am starting to enjoy the Venom comic. Eddie Brock bonding with Toxin was pretty fucking sick

Hal is my favorite, followed very closely by Guy and Alan.

In terms of marvel Hickmans Fantastic Four owns. every issue is good and i love the character dynamic of it all. But, the best modern comics ive read from marvel were the 2004 run of Moon Knight and the Anihilation/Post Annil. run of Nova.

i was really digging' captain britain and mi-13. miss that book.

I am newer to comics, so please excuse my newb ways.

But here is what I have enjoyed so far

Old Man Logan (just fantastic), I have always been a fan of futuristic "what ifs"...

I also Loved Dark Avengers, really like Bendis' writing

Liked Planet Hulk Story...

Civil war was different...

Really into uncanny X-Force, and Avengers at the moment...kinda hoping the new Dark Avengers gets really good...

DC, kinda another story for me, I liked older stuff like crisis on infinite earths, and emperor Joker was pretty fucking good as well, just dont get as excited for dc books anymore...only story dc wise I have been reading is the new earth-2...might be dropping that if it doesnt get better...
