Man Im not a big fan of the game, but this looks great. I wished US companies would take risk like this and produce a line for collectors if this things cost around 60-70 I know US companies can make great products like this and still cost way less.

Why can't play arts make things in 5 inch scale? I'd buy way more if they did!

Also no Liquid snaaake yet, or Ocelot, for that matter.

By the way, did anyone pick up metal gear rex?

Does he come with a well detailed adult diaper?

Sweet! But why are they moving to MGS2 when they haven't released Liquid or Ocelot? I also hope they release some of the bosses too. I'd love me a Vulcan Raven and Sniper Wolf! Got Gray Fox sitting in my PoL. Can't wait to get him.

that game is bad ass! rising should be sweet aswell. but seriously these figs are freakn sweet.

Does anyone know what the deal is with Play Arts Kai Metal Gear Solid Snake? Has he been released already or are pre-orders just sold out everywhere. I see him for sale on Amazon but I dunno if I should jump on it yet or not. Seems like some sellers just may have gotten him in early and are hiking up the price.

...Most sites say the release date is May 30th. Even he's been released and is already OOP, though, I think I should go ahead and get him before the price goes up even more.

Honestly, while they are vital to the story, I don't think they have as much appeal as any of the Snakes. Square Enix could've released a younger Ocelot for Big Boss to fight but didn't. Vulcan Raven and Sniper Wolf would be cool, but I can see why SE chose to go for Solidus.

Hell even when it comes to Snakes, I'm not even sure if Liquid has much appeal.

@Shin Densetsu they have made MGRevengeance Raiden already and he looks great, just google him. @Starscream99 they have made Psycho Mantis as well

He is out in Japan already, I got mine from Amiami.com. they go in and out of stock all the time so check there. you might get lucky and the retail close to $83.00 bucks and thats including shipping

Preorder is still available. I have read that he's been released already, but I'm not sure why his preorder keeps fluctuating on BBTS. Anyways, if that's the one you're talking about, get him there. :)

Man at 1st I thought you were seeing something else then I saw it for myself, WOW, THAT slipped under the radar for me! Holy crap! Revengeance might suck but damn that design and figure of Raiden looks AWESOME!

On the 23rd, I bought Cyborg Ninja for $52.99 shipped from Figure of the Day. They sent me a refund yesterday. Apparently there's some issue with their distributor (I assume Square Enix/Kotobukiya?). I was also told that I'd get first dibs if I'm still interested when Mr. Jaeger goes up for sale in the future.

Dunno if this happens to be somehow related to the fog around MGS Solid Snake or not though....

I don't know if this will help any of you guys on there, but I order my Metal Gear figures through a magazine called Preview an my local comic shop. I never pay shipping and they ship at the same time if not earlier then other places. I just got two Gray Fox's the other day no hassle, just to let you guys know. Also Solid Snake has not shipped yet but should be state side at the end of May. Hope this helps.

I ordered one already and my comic guy said he should be coming in at the end of the May.

lol, yea when it comes to MGS stuff I'm all over it. I been researching the game more and I was thinking the same thing you were. Now after I looked up more about it. It is coming together a whole lot better
