Arkham City series 3

Just got the series 2 figures and Hush is amazing in all aspects and every time I look at him I notice something new (left side of his face is really dirty). Catwoman is about 100x better looking in hand than any picture ive ever seen. Starting to get excited for series 3 and the Joker thugs but then I noticed....

Neither joker thug has knee joints.

I was going to build a thug army of like 4 thugs but after getting my Mad Hatter and the ridiculous immobility of his legs just makes me not want even get 1 thug. Mad hatter looks like hes skipping in the air on my black stand since his legs are permanently bent.

Ok Please Dc collectibles add more articulation. After seeing this Penguin I would pay an extra 5$ on each figure for full articulation. I know its entirely possible

Yeh it is annoying when they dont have leg articulation. but dc direct isnt known for its articulation. they focus on quality of sculpts. i guess when they are budgeting. they put the most effort into the main characters. i guess something like extra articulation costs more money and they dont think its worth it on generic thugs. thats just a theory though

I understand that I just dont understand what adding simples knee articulation or elbow articulation could do to their budget. The sculpts looks amazing as they are but without knees it limits them more than any other point of articulation could. I just want to be able to stand them up nicely and in different positions. Trust me my hush riddler has no knees and the figure is basically a statue becuase of that.. Penguin is a main character bro! this could be the best penguin figure ever made with some simple articulation. The joker thugs can go without the articulation but the Penguin must be perfect!

warmachine6 05-05-2012 01:52 AM

hey arkham toy fans i just realsied you might more figures due to another DLC ! which is harley quinn or something

atomicsmurf 05-05-2012 06:56 AM

Penguin, Ras, Az for me! Series 3 looks great! :D Also need to get Mr. Freeze.

@warmachine6, your deadpool animation is hypnotic. lol

I totally agree. theres no excuse for penguin not to have the articulation. i hope the ras al ghul is fully articulated. really cant wait for him and azreal.

Yea I cant believe he has neither arm nor legs articulation. It will most likely stay that way until its released. Such an important and popular character its almost ridiculous to add no articulation. Trust me if you buy Hush Riddler its no knee joints make the figure a statue with a moveable head. This figure needs more work.

Saw Azreal, got super excited, but wait, is it DC Direct?

That would be pretty awesome. It would be a good SDCC 2012 exclusive

he does look amazing. im most excited over that Ra's figure :D but Azrael is the 2nd best of that wave for sure

kenm2474 05-06-2012 02:01 PM

Azrael Looks real good but the only thing I dont see from that pic is Knee Joints. If he dose not have those this is a pass for me.
So far all the DCD AC Figs released have no knee joints

Youre right.. Azrael, Penguin and Joker thug all have no knees. Im really hoping this changes otherwise this will be arkham city statue series 1 with the exception of Batman and Ra's.

Not confirmed on Az just looks like it maybe the knee pads are covering the joint. also just noticed that DCcomic has release date as May 9th. Wonder how I got my figures on the 3rd.

Youre going to love them. Just discovered that Mad Hatter can hold his hat in one hand makes a pretty cool pose.
