I'm okay that Shao Kahn's mask doesn't come off, he still a f'n badass mofo that you don't want to mess with and Reptile he's kinda okay.

im bothered by shao kahn's nipples... lol

that aside, im definitely looking to pick him up, pass on Reptile though

Shao Khan looks awesome. I want it. Now! Just so he can say "you weak pathetic fool" to all my figures. In fact, he needs a swap out hand with the finger-point.

Good point, how are they still in business? Their toys are more prone to breaking, usually look like crap, and they're more expensive then better made toys.

It's interesting that MK is getting a big push in figures, since the games been around a long time.

Well, it just released on the Playstation Vita, it was one of the top selling games of 2011, and Warner Bros is investing a good chunk of coin into a new feature length film, rebooting the cinematic version of our perilous battle to maintain dimensional freedom... so... It makes sense to keep pushing the brand.. besides, there is precious little none-game merchandise for MK... it's not like the brand lends itself to birthday plates and pepsi tie-ins... Maybe "Test Your Might" pinatas... that's about it.

When to REALLY worry, is if there is ever announced a "Mortal Kombat MMO" game... THAT's when the world has totally lost it.

You're forgetting costumes, when I was a kid EVERYBODY wanted to be a spider-man, Wolverine, Sub-Zero, or Scorpion.

Shao Khan looks pretty good. I've been wanting a Shao Kahn figure since MK2 so I'll definitely be on the lookout for him. Reptile looks cool too but I don't know if I'll pick him up since I wasn't a huge fan of his 2011 design.

so at first i really wanted this figure....and he's been warming pegs at the toys r us in my area, but they just look like crap. i mean every single one of them has horrible paint apps and they look like more cheap junk put out by jazwares. i've had a lot of bad experiences with their product, said i wouldn't buy their stuff anymore, was going to make an exception with shao kahn, but seeing the horrible paint job on his face and the poorly constructed body, its an easy pass now. I wouldn't have charged more than $12 for that figure, the $20 is too much for such poor quality.

Came across Shao Kahn's arena yesterday at Toys R Us

Picked up Khan Saturday while doing some shopping at Toys R Us. I had to sort through at least 8 of them just to find one with eyes painted half way decent. For 17.99 these things so aren't worth it considering I payed 14.99 for the The Half Life 2 Gordon Freeman and Jason Voorhees from Part 3 and that they're alot better detailed and painted.

At least he's tall lol.
