Yeah, from the neck up anyway, that is a Neal Adams Batman. But the Koto Batman is a much better approximation of Adams' bats. Also what's up with those seams on superman's shoulders.

Super Fart Superman. I mean, what kind of wind would it take to make the cape go like that!

And that Batman cape, what is that a venetian blind? I get it, artistic licenses, but this cross into the absurd.

I'm not getting the dislike on the dramatic capes. These would be bland, vanilla posed figures without them. And crazy capes have been a staple of comic art since the days of Neal Adams & Marshall Rogers.

And in Superman's case, it suggest the iconography of a stoic flag blowing in the wind. Though, if that was John Byrne's intention or not who knows. With his workload at that time, it mightve just been an instance of quickly needing a cool full body shot of superman standing.

Obviously some great artistry goes into these...

... but that fondant logo on Batman is hilarious.

I don’t like that Superman statue. John Byrne’s drawing of him standing on the rocks is a great idea for a statue, but it’s not executed here. The S emblem and those weird seams around his shoulders and along his legs ruined this sculpt. Also, the cape looks weird, it looks more like liquid just floating around and not his actual cape. Batman is a nicer one but the bat emblem looks weird, too.
