Just got these in from Amazon today. The Sasuke figure is marginally different from the first. The Itachi figure on the other hand is AMAZING!

I was curious how they were going to do the Akatsuki cloak. Turns out the hand is attached to the cloak and the figure does not have arms. It is packaged with arms that you can add and remove as necessary. I think what I liked most is they included faces and accessories that allow you to show Itachi in a variety of versions from the anime. I was able to switch up the figure and put him into the common Sasuke/Itachi pose as in my last photo. It was a really nice touch.

I am not a Sasuke fan but I definitely like this version over the first one. I have not sat down yet to fully compare them. I think the main differences are the upper torso and the inclusion of the face in my last picture. This one has the same Chidori effect and swords as the first.

Itachi is hands down my favorite Figuarts figure I currently have. It probably helps that he is one of my favorite characters from the anime as well. I need to look at it again as I do not think it includes a face I was hoping for. Even so, it's a great figure.

The Rock Lee figure is due out in a couple months. Also not one of my favorite characters but the pics of the figure look AMAZING.

Thanks for your opinions on the other figures as well. I may have to pick those up.

Ok...so, apparently, I had already hit the "ship my loot" button because the good stuff just arrived!

If I may just say...this Extreme Set (Dojo version) is AMAZING for my Dragon Ball and Naruto and Bruce Lee and...well, you get the point.

Ha...won this auction on eBay last year (Lol, this past Friday actually). I couldn't pass on it because it went for 75 bucks including shipping! The least I've seen this fig go for is $150.00 and that's if your lucky!

Some comparison pics with ML, SHF and Play Imaginative...

That's such a good figure. I missed getting one before scalpers took the price to silly heights. Compliments on a nice catch.

Yeah, I paid $120.00 for my MOC one from a seller in Japan and that was the cheapest I've ever seen it until this auction.

Ugh, I wish I found deals. Bought the Tony figure off of Amazon on the 31st for $74. Now they are up for high 50s to low 60s. Granted those are coming from Japan from 3rd party sellers with a month long ship time but still.

Oh well, at least it will be awesome when it arrives LOL!

Glad you got Tony...you'll love the fig! You don't eBay? I've seen them low 40's there every once in a while...you just have to be looking all the time, Lol!

I do eBay but I try to stay clear as often as I can since eBay leads to impulse buying for me. That freaking sidebar ticker here had caught me numerous times LOL.

I also question how many on eBay are knockoffs.

Lol...true...I hear you man.

The citizens of Toyark have voted...I'm not surprised Figuarts won as this thread is called the SHF thread but, I am surprised that Mafex took second place and Figma zero votes...interesting. Also, I was hoping the visitors would be able to vote because this thread gets a lot of visitors (more visitors than members actually) but, I didn't know how the polls here work...now we know.

Figma 0 0%
Mafex 3 18.75%
Revoltech 1 6.25%
S.H.Figuarts 12 75.00%

Great question! My opinion is...Depends on what you're looking for. What I mean by that is...if you want to use your armors as an independent toy line and not worry about how they scale with other figs, then Bandai 100% (they scale perfectly with Comicave/Play Imaginative though). If you want your armors to scale well with other toy lines like Legends for example, then Figma. As for quality, both brands are top notch in my opinion. The difference is Figma figs are a bit taller than Bandai. The future of the armors looks very good with both of these companies. SHF just announced they're doing from Mark 1 to 7 and Figma is about to release Mark 42 and 43.

Lol...man, you have no idea how awesome I felt when they announced the upcoming figs! I'm just sad Comicave is cancelling a bunch of armors because they were doing every armor that SHF and Figma will more than likely not do.

I just opened my Figarts Rogue One figures and I love them. I hadn't noticed before that the Death Trooper is the standard and not the specialist design like the Mafex version. Are they compatible? Do SH Figuarts figures look ok next to Mafex Miracle action figures?

Mafex tends to be a bit taller than Figuarts especially the newer figures (the older Mafex were a better fit with Figuarts).

SHF is also rereleasing the Mark VI later this year as a US only figure bundled with their new hall of armor piece. The hall pieces will also be sold individually and are all supposed to connect together as well as with the power base piece that comes with Tony.
