anyone know if there is a huge difference between the EX versions and trhe old ones, and between the japanese or latinamerican versions for that matter?

the reason i ask is because i became interested in them, but the Ex versions seem Hot toys expensive, so is there a huge difference between them? thanks

I couldn't point out specifics to you but I will tell you that my friend that is a Saint Seiya collector is buying the new EX versions of the characters and he's got at least 1 of each of the old ones.

I don't think they are Hot Toys expensive...at least not yet in the states.

must be my country then, leo is about 400 dollars, most are about 200 or so, the unreleased ones will launch at 100, whereas the normal ones go for about 70 dollars or so

The ex have a better sculpt, better articulation, and more metal pieces... so yes, they're more expensive.

But personally I don't feel the need to buy the EX. I bought the characters I liked on Myth normal, and just abandonned the line in disgust since this "EX" line is here to milk the fans.
Sometimes, Bandai have to learn when to stop

kind of what i figured, i knew they were upgrades, but didnt know if the upgrades were too big and a must buy or small enough not to warrant the price.
i mainly looked at them, because i just got some dragon ball figuarts, and im really happy with their quality, and the fact that they are not statures.
