I just thought you should know that those aren't all SDCC exclusives. The Bounty Hunters pack with 4-LOM and Zuckuss is a Star Wars Celebration V exclusive.

Yes, you are correct. But the SDCC exclusives are in there as well, hence why I posted them all like that. I have to say I am not up to speed on the Star Wars stuff as much as I should be. So yeah, 2 are Celebration items.

EDITED by me to cover up my lack of Star Wars knowledge

Out of the ones they sent, that Darth Maul set looks to be the best.

Well, this helps further explain that Ebay auction we saw about the Celebration V exclusive.

Of these, I'd be most interested in the IM and Prowl Muggs.

I agree. I've never bought a Mighty Mugg but Prowl looks slick.

Muggs are actually a lot more fun than they might first appear. The attention to detail is both comical and astounding. The Soundwave MM I own actually has the screw on the back of his head as part of the paint apps.

Unfortunately, a few of them don't hold up well with their trademark details. Shockwave is a prime example. Even though other characters have their ears (Bumblebee, Galactus), Shocky's are painted on the sides of his otherwise round head. Just looks off to me. But there are some definite gems in this line, and not just TFs.

Grab a few on clearance if you can still find them outside of TRU. Speaking of which, MM War Machine is awesome and is a TRU exclusive.

Maul vs. Lars. Lemme go get my blue milk.

Maul makes me think two things:
1: He really became General Grievous and we just don't know it. (that would have been a REALLY good twist Lucas....)
2: Someone was watching Tom Cruise's 'Legend' a bit too much.

Lars....well, he's just going to nag Maul to death about moisture vaporators.

Next exclusive should be something like Ewoks vs Gungans.

That 2-pack is actually based on a short story in the Star Wars: Visionairies comic series. You can read a basic summary here of that story ("Old Wounds") as well as the rest of the series. It wasn't just some dumb marketing gimmick dreamed up by Hasbro or Lucasfilm. It was a dumb marketing gimmick dreamed up by the writer and Dark Horse Comics.

The upshot is the story is actually pretty good and fits established continuity.

Ewoks and Gungans have been the best selling characters!

I have grabbed every single one!
