I say to all the 'Arkers who missed out today, honestly, at like 12pm I counted 74 of them on ebay. Supply and demand, there will eventually be no choice but for these criminals to lower their prices to unload product. Especiallly the geniuses who bought like 10.

Yeah, ouch, hey? I look at it this way, I got the three I wanted for my display. Now I can stop obsessing over not having them. :]

I'm a generous guy to a fault, if I didn't buy these for myself now, I would've spent whatever it was on someone else less deserving or borrowed it out to someone.

Marvelousnews has a 4 part video of the Hasbro Marvel panel. 3 and 4 are the Q and As. I watched all of it:

1) THEY DID alude to a GREAT chance that the classic sentinel will make mass market appearance

2) Also talked that Professor X in his hover chair will eventually come out

[QUOTE=ludovicotek;139286]Comes on a giant card, which is then in a giant box.

So the one from hasbrotoyshop comes on card just like the SDCC one? Or is the one from hts just the classic colors in a regular box, but not on card?

Man am I pissed.. spent the $110 on the SDCC sentinel because I believed the carded one to never be available elsewhere..

I understand the classic colors coming to retail or being mass produced later, but I wanted it on card as it was only available that way at SDCC.. except.. apparently later on hts. I mean, awesome for everyone else, that's truly incredible.. but not I'm out $50 and that hurts..

Just use it as a learning experience for next year, quinten.

And on the positive side, you still own one.

Yea man, I hear you and feel your pain but thats the risk you take when you buy a new product when its first released. How many people paid 50-100+ for a phasing vision or a phasing Dr. Strange when they first came out?

This might make you feel better:

guilty. I think a ALOT of us have done it. $80 for Phasing Vision, Ms Varvel variant, Warpath, Daredevil. $320 total. for $32 worth of figures. THATS why I have had to force myself to be patient. I literally and figuratively cannot afford to make those kind of mistakes/ choices again.

Yeah it's rough. I never knew outside of scalpers that SDCC figures would just be listed to purchase. I've always thought CC exclusives were just that.. sad face.

I am fine with patience though. I rarely ever jump on a figure when it's first released. I did with this one simply due to the fact that I knew it was a comic con exclusive and I'd never get a chance at it retail.

I don't jump on figures at all. I've just been lucky. I still don't have that havok variant or that comic con 2010 WWII Captain America and the SDCC 2010 Galactus. I guess I have to bite the bullet and pay more than it's worth because I got the complete set from Iron Man to Gladiator.

Keep in mind too Quinten that the Sentinels that went on sale on hts were just what they had left over from the convention and they sold out within a few hours. If you hadn't bought yours early you would have very much run the risk of not getting one, which is where many people on this forum ended up. So even though you paid more, you still got one and it is still a very rare and cool item you have in your collection.

Now you know. And knowing is....well...you know the rest.

Aye aye, this is true. I am more than happy I got one, but to see only days later the same version for that much cheaper was a judo chop to my wallet. However, I was having errors a plenty trying to purchase it, so I can't even be upset since I would have done this all over again on ebay any way. I did get a Thor on hts though. I wasn't even sure I wanted one, but with discount and that hammer packaging it was hard to pass up. Thanks for the moral support fellow arkers ;P

Looking at how Sentinels are on eBay you have to wonder how many people are actually keeping them!

All I can say to people in the US who missed out on getting one from HTS, is be glad you're not paying an extra $50 for shipping on eBay like people in Europe.

Yeah, lots of price gouging out there. This is Hasbro's way of paying us back for all our complaining on the boards. Give us the figures we want........... in very limited quantities. LOL. All of my Sentinels shipped UPS to Canada, so I have that glorious brokerage fee to look forward to. By the end of it all, I'll have paid around $90 in shipping costs alone PER Sentinel, $270 in shipping costs for all 3. All because Hasbro hates Canada.

This reminds me of my old thread called "Searching & Patience My Friends" ahh memories but yeah things are slowly changing for the better my fellow arkers so us collectors will have a better chance at getting all the figures we want.
