I just got this figure yesterday.. and he really is amazing. An amazing sculpt, paint apps and above all articulation. This figure really got me thinking.. what other figures in this scale would I want to see receive this kind of all star treatment.

For me, I would love to see a wolverine done this way, he is after all one of my favorite characters. I think there could be a market for this type of figure, sort of a premium quality catching a higher price tag but marketed to collectors more so than kids.

How about you guys, are there any figures you would love to see with this kind of treatment in the MU scale?

You realize this figure is getting re-released in the first wave of Captain America movie figures? With another accessory no less.

Is it the same exact figure or a new sculpt?

Its not the exact same figure that I know of iirc its got different paint apps but yes I was aware the movie line was seeing a version of this however the sdcc version is superior imo in paint apps.. other than that yep its the same. But if you read the thread I am talking about the overall premium feel of his mold/accessories and PAINT which I think is excellent I would like to see more done in this fashion.

The one you are refering to is more geared towards the kids, the sdcc version towards the collector.

Yeah, from what I've seen I think I actually like the upcoming one even better than the SDCC one. I'm still more excited for the other Caps with MU articulation, though.
