They won't pop into place. I think the peg is too short or something. I tried boiling one of the heads to soften the plastic, but that didn't help. Right now I am using Tak Putty to hold them on, but...

Ewwww, that hook is gross. Maybe you could remove it and hot glue the arm to the back of the figure instead. If you use a low enough temp hotglue gun it comes off easily.

It was a weird toy, I remember it being really tall. In retrospect it reminds me of a Psychlo from that awful movie...

I am kind of surprised we don't see more LEDs in these kinds of toy lines. It's not that expensive, and it's way more enticing to me than sound effects. That ED-209 should have had muzzle-flashing...
