 The Great War has taken its toll on many warriors. The ones that survived the front lines either ended up with a scarred psyche or some kind of physical trauma. For all the enemy lives he has taken, they ambushed him and decided to get their revenge. His left hand was lopped off and an auger was surgically attached in its place. They also shoved hot pokers in his eyes. He was (literally) screwed. Now in the Copper Corps, he serves as the face the new recruits first encounter. His years of experience, expertise, and his heightened senses are needed when training new team members.
