He looks fantastic, I just wish he wasn't so darn expensive.

I've had my eye on the Revoltech Gamera, but this Monsterarts Gamera is sweet and it doesn't have those bulbous ball joints that mar the appeal of the competing version (although the Revoltech appears to have a slight edge in articulation)...the SH Monsterarts is not that much more expensive either....decisions...decisions...

Japanese imports are just like that. I don't have any SH figures due to the prices, but for the hardcore Gamera fan there doesn't appear to be many options. At least with Godzilla I had the option to wait for an American company to try their hand at adult-aimed figures (thank you very much NECA) and buy a much cheaper, though technically inferior, toy.

I've noticed that. Gojira himself is usually like $60, but then say Mechagodzilla is barely larger but comes out closer to $90. Maybe they make the Godzilla a little easier on the wallet so you can at least have a figure of the king.

So is this how he flies in the newer series? I hadn't ever seen them, the spinning was cooler I think. These do always look great, but especially on this one he's pretty hollow. |

I haven't seen Gamera vs Legion (or something like that) in years, but I re-watched Revenge of Iris last month and in that one he flew traditional rocket-frisbee style.
