I guess it can be seen as unfortunate that at least these Ryu and Bison's I'll finally have are far better than the rest of my collection.

Has everyone in this thread seen their MK Goro? It's the best Goro we could have asked for!

I look forward to more from them.

I do hope that the costumes Storm chooses to use for these figures stays close to the SF2 looks. I'd prefer a Shirtless Vega to a loose-shirt Vega, for example.
Right now, everything they've revealed (Including Alex and Ken) has been based on Street fighter V. My guess is that's the only game they're currently licensed to handle.

I was pretty excited for Ryu, but upon release he doesnt seem all that great to me anymore. I dislike his facesculpt with a passion and find it doesnt match the in-game model in the most annoying way.
Bison looks a lot better though.
I wouldnt be too eager about Ken either, seeing that his face in-game is weird to say the least, the figure's head will most likely look pretty bad.
Any Vega figure would be great tbh seeing as the SOTA one always seems to sell for quite a lot these days (not saying that these figures arent pricey but still). And a decent Cammy ofcourse

On a sidenote, I will probably invest in buying a pretty cool statue of Ryu from 3rd Strike seeing as I have given up hope for a decent Ryu figure.

I was a little miffed at Storm taking the MK license and no more Mezco 6 inch, but so far I'm pretty pleased with the direction Storm is going with their SFV line. I'm holding out for an Alt color Bison, hopefully white, as just a way to keep me from trying to pick up the whole line and blowing the bank lol. He looks really good, I liked the original body sculpt, but I've become really pleased with the changes. Holding out hope that Oro will be made at some point, but figure they'll get to Urien before him so still happy.

that's a cool shot...they look good together..
i'm torn tho'...i look at that pic and see like what $110.00
Lawd knows i don't want to pay 50.00 + per figure..

But they may look GREAT in person....
and I'd HATE to pass on these...and the line goes on and on..and ends up with a significant roster...then the original's aftermarket prices are insane.....
*sigh*
decisions..decisions....the life of a collector...

Just looked up the character list for this game and no Blanka, but how the hell does Dhalsim make it into the game. I was really really looking forward to Blanka. Perhaps the will do him anyways

Among the FGC, Blanka has been consistently voted the most hated character in the series for a number of years now. The hatred for him became a fever pitch with both the CVS games and SF4 riding the wave of online playability, making an already frustrating match up even worse, as his mechanics and gimmicks made him a nightmare to deal with thanks to online latency and lag, not to mention a gimmicky strategic game that in many cases was 50/50, meaning that a wrong guess would cost you dearly. While many people will say that it was actually easy to shut down, the truth was if you ever had an easy match with someone online, you were probably playing against someone who was not very good or creative with the character, or someone who hadn't actually realized that his rolling attacks were actually a red herring, being the worst of his tools at his disposal.

Many players in the FGC community were incredibly vocal against Blanka and even threatened to boycott the game if he were to be included, so Capcom just decided to leave well enough alone, at least for the time being. In the final days of SF4, only El Fuerte and Elena were possibly hated more than old Blanka.

That said, Blanka has been a favorite of mine since SF2CE, but his SOTA Toys figure is quite good, and can be picked up for less than what these retail for, therefore I'd rather see a character made that we have never seen yet.

I can't decide if they made Ken's face better or worse :| With SHF showing off some SF, I'm curious to see how Storm's Chun Li will compare. Since they're doing SFV, I'm hoping to see Urien sooner rather than later. Hopefully in his proper 3S costume instead of the SFV suit.

Yeah. I guess I'm gonna have to get Bison. It's too tempting to have him and Dormammu facing off against each other now.

Had to pass on Ryu because his gi is way too dirty, and don't like that look for Ken, but Bison and (especially) Zangief are definite buys.

Funny that this is the issue here when there have been a few Japanese lines that focus on just the women like Cammy, Chun-Li etc.
