And bigger, clearer pics of their designs via promotional artwork here.

Mikey actually looks exactly like the Halloween mask, which I can't say I'm happy about. He really does look like Shrek.

Donnie seems to have more of a beak than the others, which I like. Leo seems (to my eyes, at least) to be directly between Donnie and Mikey - he's got a more rounded "snout" but also has those weird pronounced lips. Raph skews closer to Mikey.

I like the basic aspects of their designs, namely the outfits. They tread dangerously close to being overcomplicated but I think they look great. I'm also pleasantly surprised by that pic of Shredder that is floating around, but I'm reserving judgment of him until I can see either the movie or the toy that is made from it.

Well unless this is directed more to adults the Turtles suck big time. Maybe they look more real and less cartoony but I don't see small kids liking them at least the younger ones. They look to creepy and ugly. Anyway I will watch the movie but I don't think the toys will be a success and the movie we will see. If they are counting with kids maybe they should think twice.

Just my 2 bits

I had to look, but now I wish I hadn't.

I really don't think the toys looks bad at all. Depending on how Leo looks (I only saw the other three) I'll buy the whole set.

Mikey actually looks better in toy form, because they didn't paint a darker hue on the lips to match his movie form. They're less obvious for that reason.

I'll probably just buy Donatello and Leo. The other two just would look bad on my shelf

I wish they looked like the out of the shadows versions. I could live with those.

Aren't those designs more or less just more realistic looking versions of the new cartoon?

Ehh, not to my eye. The outfits are totally different, but even the physical appearances are modified. Donnie doesn't seem to be tall or particularly slim, for example - at least compared to Michelangelo. Raph is HUGE.

I hope they at least adopt the same weapons. I'd love to see Mikey using a kusarigama in the movie.

Oh! Then yeah, they were based on the new show. I actually do prefer those designs, now that I think about it. The new movie Raph's look is pretty awesome though.

Hmm. Now I kind of want to go play Out of the Shadows again.

I kinda like the new designs, but that snapshot of the figures (Raph, Don, Mikey) are hit-or-miss. Can see a future of crying 5 year olds scared by a horror movie-looking Raph by the way, going by that CG poster.

I'll reserve judgement until better looks. I hope they have some sort of van! I love toy versions of their main ride.
