When I was seven, i got the GIANT electronic Megatron(the ones used in the comic) for X-Mas. I thought that was what this was based off of, minus the "camo".

After quite a bit of searching I FINALLY found the new MP Optimus. Put that sucker in layaway along with MP Thundercracker and that funky Asian G2 Megatron. I hadn't even heard or seen anything about that before but for some reason I loved it as soon as I saw it and had to get it.

If I could just get a hold of a MP Rodimus then my TF buying would be done and over with again. At least... until Fall of Cybertron Starscream, Blaster, and Grimlock start showing up.

I'm still waiting for my OP preorder to ship. Suppose to be next week, hopefully it's true! As for Megs still prefer the G1 gun version of him. I was lucky to get a MP Rod off of Ebay for retail cost, even though I passed him up the first time I saw him.

So did I. My entire TF collection accidentally got left behind at the old house when we moved the one time, and a friend of my grandfather snatched them up and sold them all at a yard sale before we even noticed the mistake.

So I quit collecting them for years up until War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron sucked me back in. Now I'm pretty much just collecting those figures but occasionally some other stuff catches my eye too. The new MP Optimus, for example. My original one is the thing I missed the most from my old collection so it's pretty cool to be able to get a smaller one with his trailer and some extras.

Dang what a kind of a friend is that! And ya I would have gotten WFC but I missed it, and getting those from Ebay isn't really worth it for me, so I'm only getting a select FOC. But ya you def. have to be very picky when getting TF so many awesomeness to choose from.

My G1 Six Shot is missing both his guns. Anyone know where I might be able to score them for a decent price? They want $25 a piece for them on ebay. No fucking way I'm paying close to $50 for them.

so i guess hasblow hates ct since not one tru has gotten any mp primes yet. i guess they'll start popping up when the price hits $149.99 at the rate they keep jacking prices up...

There's a "$10 off your purchase of $75" coupon in their weekly circular (and on your receipt if you bought anything there this week. I know Prime is still tough to find, but print it out and stick it in your wallet.

yeah but if it would have been shipped to any ct stores i would have owned it when it was $99.99 plus used the save 20% off that just finished a few days ago... $79.99 would have been better than $109.99 plus tax any day. and sadly, no one out here knows when they are being shipped to their stores since mp thundercracker started showing up about 2-3 weeks ago..

Soooo... I've finally gotten around to watching my Beast Wars DVDs, and that brought back some memories. Long story short, I recently got the old Ultra Optimus Primal off ebay for twenty bucks (no missiles) and the 20th Anniversary TRU Megatron for about $37.

I never had either of them as a kid, and the only Optimus Primal I ever had was the crappy Beast Machines one. My inner child is giddy right now. If only I could find my original Cheetor... I'm pretty sure he managed to avoid the yard sale, I vaguely remember seeing him somewhere in storage since we've been living in this house. I'm just not sure where to look. He's probably my last surviving BW toy from when I was little, assuming he is here somewhere.
