I need to see FOC optimus in person, looks weird, Hasbro has yet to pose it well in shots, I hate the hollow forearms.

BTW, a few good Botcon reveals:
TFCC Subscription Service Images - SCOURGE, YAY! - Transformers News - TFW2005
Botcon 2012 Panel - Hasbro Brand Team - "The Hasbro Panel" - Transformers News - TFW2005
Transformers SDCC 2012 Bruticus Gift Set Fall of Cybertron - Transformers News - TFW2005

Good year for CHUG collectors!

the combaticons, look at how little kibble there is. Hasbro seemed to have learned from Warpath, the most perfect transformer ever.

So excited by all the reveals from Botcon this year, especially FOC and TFP.

I'm also really looking forward to getting more info on TFCC's new subscription service. I'm definitely on-board if the price is right.

I think they've done an amazing job with FOC Bruticus, but all I see over at TFW is people are pissing and moaning about his color scheme. I couldn't give a frack what color he is, just the fact that they finally did a combiner using deluxe molds like we've requested for years.

Hell, I'll happily pick him up in G2 colors if they release him that way.

they have to step up engineering wise to take the money away from third party companies. I mean, is it a coincidence they made this combiner after the "success" of the monster 800 dollar not-devastator?

It was all extremely dissappointing to me. They didn't really reveal anything terribly surprising or new.

Give me all that and I'll be done with Transformers!
So I didn't get any of those wishes, but Springer and the Dinobots were hinted at, I assume Springer would have a repaint as Sandstorm. Hopefully Snarl and Sludge would get figures as they haven't had any toys for ages.

iGear are supposed to be doing Topspin and Twintwist, FansProject are supposed to be doing Broadside and the Stunticons so maybe I'll get there in the end!

Finally opened my Club Exclusive Runabout and Runamuck today, despite all the crap with people's details being stolen, they are awesome figures - much better than the customs I was planning. Fine additions to a Classics collection!

Now see, I really liked the deluxe Screamer mold from DOTM (well, aside from the MechTech gimmick), so I gladly picked up the TC redeco. Funny though - the TC version is the superior deco in my eyes.

Ditto. There are few TFs I hate more than Starscream's movie design. And I've hated all toys of him to date, including the much loved RotF voyager (Never got the leader).
But I absolutely love the DotM deluxe, and so glad they made TC. Only reason I got it, and I'd have missed a brilliant and FUN little mold.

There isn't one. And Hasbro has yet to announce any plans for one.

If they're classics, I guess so (This isn't the GD thread). I'd personally prefer such things be kept into more appropriate threads/forums that are devoted to collections/aquisitions myself, though.
So if it's up to a vote, put me down for a no thank you.

So what exactly are Classics if you guys are speaking about DOTM molds and such?

Apologies, just slightly confused...

I like the "Look At What I Just Got!" Thread for my new acquisitions, no matter what line...I'm digging this Thread for classic stuff definately (I think we were straying off topic last night over there LOL)

I vote Yes for classic talk, and No for new acquisitions!!!

I think DOTM came into play because were were talking about Seekers - If you're a fan of the new take on the vintage characters, you can talk here. Classics, Generations, United, etc.

But you are right as well. When I think of Classics, The 1st thing that comes to my mind is the Generations Line...

New haul posts, regardless of the line, should go in the "Look What I Just Got" thread. But we won't sweat it if you post pics of your new TFs here, too. Just make sure you try to stay on-topic with those pics as well.

Technically, DOTM and any other movie-related discussion should go in the TF Catch-All thread, but as DarthGzus33 said, it came up because of an earlier discussion about FOC Starscream and Seekers in general.

This thread here is for Classics, Universe 2.0 and Generations (which includes WFC and FOC). It also includes the Asian counterparts (Henkei, United, GDO, etc.) as well as the Masterpiece line on both sides of the Pacific. I'd personally include HFTD and RTS as well, since they had more figures in-line with Classics than they did with movie toys.

Here are the other TF threads we have on Toyark, if anyone is interested:
http://www.toyark.com/transformers-c...-thread-48935/
http://www.toyark.com/transformers-b...-thread-48932/

And while it technically covers more than just TF's, there's also this thread:
http://www.toyark.com/kre-o-thread-48906/

Possibly, although most people I talked to are fine with using his WFC toy for now.

New MP's announced!

New Masterpiece - MP-17 Prowl and MP-18 Smokescreen - Transformers News - TFW2005

I'm up for importing Prowl, but I may wait to see about a domestic release for Smokescreen. But I really hope this means at some point we'll get a Bluestreak. I just hope he'll be a regular release, not E-Hobby or the like.

MP Soundwave is in stock at BBTS and currently on sale for $189.99.

Got an email from them earlier that my preorder for SW came in, so I should be able to post some pics in about a week or so.
