After hours at the Cherry Bomb Toy Show, 2005 Boards member Encline got a chance to take a look at some of the upcoming Maketoys products. These three teaser images show the relative size of the Giant's Constructicons - they are Deluxe sized, not Scout sized as previously thought. Giant himself is approximately 2 times the height of a Deluxe. Lastly, a new shot of Fallen shows him relative to a Deluxe class, and he too is approximately 1.5 times the height of a Deluxe.
Read on and check out the pictures, and watch this space, as there is more material to come. |

The hunt begins yet again, for some of us. Thanks to TFW2005 user Lbsammills51, we have our first United States sighting of the highly-awaited repaint of the DOTM Ironhide in a very G1-inspired deco. This toy was sighted at a Target in California.

Take this with a HUGE grain of salt. Showblitz.com is reporting that Hasbro said on a Monday earnings call that they were in "active discussions" with Paramount, Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg on how to move forward with the film franchise. Sources close to the planning process tell the website it could actually be two films headed into production, a measure that can save millions because cast and crew deals only be negotiated once, among other factors. Ehren Kruger is said to have an idea for the next installments that the studio likes. Shia Leabouf is still out and, once again, Jason Statham has been discussed yet again. Statham was previously rumored to be Lebouf's replacement and later dismissed by Michael Bay himself.
Again, take this with a HUGE grain of salt. We'll keep you posted as more information rolls in. For the time being, sound off in the discussion thread. |

2005 Board member grinkrystal has been fortunate enough to pick up Deluxe Cliffjumper and Bumblebee from the upcoming Transformers Prime toyline. The toys were found at a local toy show in the Phillipines and did not come in package. He's been gratious enough to share with us some images of the two figures side by side in vehicle mode and some underneath shots.
grinkrystal has also uploaded two quick videos as well. One of those videos shows Cliffjumper's cannons off. To view those videos, check out the pics and join the discussion, click the title bar and enjoy. |

An interesting tidbit today as it appears Takara-Tomy, through Toys 'R Us Japan, will be releasing an add-on set for the upcoming Japanese-exclusive Striker Optimus Prime. Limited at 10,000 pieces, the add-on is composed of two energy swords that can be attached to they toy by the use of either a Mechtech port, or grips that are specially designed for the hands of not just Striker Optimus Prime, but for any of the previous uses of the ROTF Leader Optimus Prime mold. The parts will be available from November 18th to December 11th.

TFC Toys has posted new images of their upcoming Structor and Dr. Crank figures from the Hercules set on their Facebook page. As Heavy Labor gets ready to start heading out, you can now get excited for the next two releases as they are shown here in delicious Decepticon black, purple and green for the first time. 2005 Board member xterry adds that the final paint on these figures has yet to be applied.
Interestingly, Structor's shovel is shown in black. Whether this is a permanent color for the figure or still awaiting paint is unknown. Check the Hercules Mega Thread and join the discussion |

Amazon Japan has updated with a couple of new product pages. they've got pages up showing clear images of Takara-Tomy's Deluxe Leadfoot - who is devoid of all sponsorship logos - and Human Alliance Soundwave, who is actually using the same basic promo images as Soundwave's US release (but we've not had a proper clear look at them before now so worth checking out).
Click on the links above for the full zoomable images, we've got some decent mid-res versions of the images attached to this story. |

Michael Bay has responded to the rumors that he is in talks with Paramount for Transformers 4 & 5. He denies any talks are taking place, and states that his current future plans do not involve any new installments of the Transformers live action movie franchise.
I am currently not talking to Paramount on T4 and T5 despite reports. I'm looking at a lot of possibilities coming my way right now weighing options. Most likely going to be doing the low budget Pain and Gain, a true story crime thriller. It's a very quick shoot and quite funny. Also just finishing the 3 disc set of the Transformer trilogy.
