Over on their Facebook page, Transformers Galaxy (A group of fans from Hong Kong) has posted a gallery of the upcoming BotCon 2012 exclusive Gigatron. Gigatron is a remold of the Bludgeon mold from the Revenge of the Fallen line, with a head based on the character's design from Last Stand of the Wreckers.

This toy is available only through the 2012 BotCon set, which has just opened for non-attendee orders.

Thanks to Collider.com, we now have two new promotional images for the upcoming second season of Transformers Prime! The first image features Optimus Prime split down the middle with the Decepticons to this left and the Autobots to his right. Half of Optimus is his regular self, while the half that is on the Decepticon side shows him wearing a Decepticon symbol on his left shoulder. The 2nd image is of Optimus in mid jump. Jumping out of the shadows maybe? Let us know what you think!

Excited for Season two of Transformers Prime? Sound off on the 2005 Boards and discuss these images

Holy Moly! Robot Kingdom's just dropped a huge bombshell as far as all new Transformers toys goes! Coming to you in 2012 are a great deal of new items including:

A New Transformers Prime Entertainment Pack featuring Transformers Starscream and Bumblebee plus human characters Silas and one of his MECH Troopers!

Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Deluxe Assortment Wave 3 containing repacks of Bumblebee, Arcee and the Vehicon (each one per case), plus new additions Knock Out and Ratchet and a previously unknown character for Transformers Prime, HOT SHOT!

New Mold Transformers Prime Optimus Prime - a new version of Transformers Prime Optimus Prime in the Voyager class, with clear forearms, different gun and sword to the first edition. Probably not the same thing as the Powerizer we've been hearing about? Due out in February.

Prime Cyberverse Wave 2, adding Breakdown and Soundwave to the lineup. This assortment also seems to be incorporating some of the hangovers of the Movie series including the previously announced Evac from Transformers the Ride and Mirage!!!!!! (Don't celebrate just yet - he might be a Prime character instead)

Prime Cyberverse Vehicle Wave 1 which not only includes the Starhammer with Wheeljack that was previously revealed but also Energon Driller with Knockout!

Bot Shots Big Rig Assortment is revealed - Optimus Prime and Megatron with little pop-open vehicles / trailers!

Last but not least, more images of the Bot Shots Assortment - Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Starscream are in their traditional Generation 1 styling, with a Movieverse Barricade and one other character all in red who we don't recognise. Looks like good fun pocket toys though!

Perfect Effect has once again updated their blog with new pictures of their next upcoming project. PEDX-01 is an updated "classic" Arcee figure with a sharp looking motorcycle alternate mode. We get a sense of scale with this figure as it is photographed with a G.I.Joe Snake-Eyes figure riding the alt mode. There is also a picture with Perfect Effect's Ninja figure. Clearly, they're riding to save the universe.

Check out the new color images by clicking the title bar!

Some interesting news for those of you following the Mastershooter Shooter Master Targetmasters. Preorders have gone up for the set of the first four at Captured Prey, along with two new - and Captured Prey exclusive - two packs. The two packs are inspired by the partners of the later 1988 Targetmasters such as Quake and Spinister, with one figure in each set being colored black and the other colored purple. With rumors of a Classics Spinister in the works for Botcon 2012, a set of these might be the perfect way to complement that figure, or your original if he's lost his Targetmasters.

Check out the preorder listings for more information and preliminary CGI renders at Captured Prey.

MTV has posted a Featurette in preparation for the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon 3D Home Video Release on January 31st. The Featurette is names ATT-ATT; which stands for “All The Toys, All The Time”.

In MTV’s own words…

...It's called ATT-ATT, and it stands for "All the toys, all the time." That basically sums up how Bay likes to shoot his films. When approaching a particular scene, the director prefers to have all different types of film equipment ready to go if inspiration strikes at any particular moment...

...In the clip, we see Bay explaining exactly where he wants the mechanical carnage to take place and how he wants it all to look. That can mean changing where destroyed cars sit on the streets of Chicago or how a car looks after it backs up into a piece of construction equipment...

Check out the Clip, below*:

Read more at MTV Movies Blog.

The Hub updated its Facebook page with some really cool news:

For those of you into the Generation One cartoon: Transformers: The Movie will air on the network at 9 p.m. on February 18! Relive each moment of the epic movie that saw some of our favorite Transformers characters move over to make room for a new cast, all while battling the evil foe, Unicron! Perhaps you are just now getting into Generation One and you've never seen the first animated feature? Well, here's your chance to watch it on the Hub for the first time! We won't give anything away, so catch Optimus Prime and Megatron in their most epic battle ever and see one brave Autobot arise and "light our darkest hour!"

Also very noteworthy is the series premiere of Transformers Rescue Bots at noon (which ROCKS, by the way!), as well as the three-part Transformers Prime season two premiere at 8:30 p.m.

(Note that all times are listed in EST. Be sure to check your local listings so you won't miss out!)

Hot off the heals of the earlier reveal of the Transformers Prime Voyager Megatron, we now have two (albeit tiny) in hand images of this new figure. These images show a lot more brown in the coloration of the figure. Is this the same figure? Or a seperate release?

Speculate and discuss on the 2005 Boards!

Just wanted to welcome our readers back, we were down a bit earlier today. TFW2005 has moved to a new server, upgraded in every way hardware wise. One that will (hopefully) be able to address all the digital bum-rushes you throw at us in the upcoming year full of conventions and events. On a similar note, User Albums and Attachments have been turned back on forum wide for those that had those abilities before.

Enjoy!

The hunt is on! 2005 Board member Optimus Prowl has reported finding a new Transformers Prime Role Play item at his local Toys R Us. This time around, it's the Bumblebee Ion Blaster! The Ion Blaster transformers from cannon into a blaster! Weapons in disguise!

Take a look at the image after the break. Find new toys in your area? Be sure to post them in our sightings forum!
