Continuing on from our previously reported news on the new United Figures. Snakas Blog and 2005 Board Masabon have provided us with several new pictures of United Rodimus. The latest use of the Classics Rodimus mold features a remolded engine with a reverse Minicon port for attaching the Japanese Exclusive Powercore Combiner Targetmaster repaints. He also features a richer maroon color scheme.

Is this a Rodimus you plan to add to your ever growing Classic collection? Sound off on the 2005 Boards.

We've just received our press release regarding the Transformers Collector's Club Exclusive Over-Run and Shattered Glass Drift, with word that pre-orders will begin early this week. Along with the release are images of each item, as well as a pair of t-shirts, and the following information:

Now, the BIG news! The Over-Run package will come with a slot in the foam for members to store their Runamuck figure. These two “RUN” partners will never be far apart when chaos comes calling! Also, as previously announced, Drift will come with both his swords AND two guns. The first time this mold has been offered with a mix of both!

Those of you looking forward to purchasing these items should make sure to keep your eyes glued to the frontpage of TFW2005 and to the Transformers Collector's Club Twitter feed from this point on for news on when the preorders will begin!

Transformers Galaxy have posted some new images to their Facebook gallery showing some future assortments of the Bot Shots toys. These leaked images show off future additions to the line, confirming it's a full cross-continuity series with Generation 1, War for Cybertron (in the form of Megatron) and Movie series all represented.

On the images, one shows Wave 2, which introduces new characters Mirage, Ratchet (both Generation 1, though Ratchet's vehicle mode is his Movie Humvee mode). They are joined by Decepticon Brawl from the movie series, and that clear yellow one we mentioned the other day? First Bumblebee redeco of the line.

A future wave (unnumbered in the leaked image) adds Thundercracker (Generation 1, Starscream redeco) and Jetfire (based on Classics). Also new to that wave are Lockdown (Movie series) and Topspin from Dark of the Moon.

Click the link above or the title of this story to check out the images.

Who is making it and where it will be available are still unknowns. Zap2it has updated with the title and description of the 28th episode of Transformers Prime. The title is no surprise considering the title of the season premiere, and the description - which I think most people following the show saw coming a mile away - does spoil a certain plot development, so read at your own risk.

Great news, Transformers Kabaya kit fans! We've got a double reveal to share with you now. Revealed today on Rakutan stores, Snakas' blog and the Cybergundam blog amongst many others are two new series of Transformers Kabaya kits. First of all, there is a fifth wave of the revived Kabaya Transformers, and second, a new Kabaya combiner set.

Starting with Wave 5, there are three great new additions in the form of Deathsaurus from Transformers Victory, War for Cybertron Optimus Prime and a Classics style reimaginging of Protectobot Hot Spot. Some pretty cool choices - and another Transformers Victory character given some love as a Kabaya! Each kit in the set also comes with extra parts to form "full armour" Deathsaurus - I'm guessing that means he'll have both breastmasters?

The second new reveal is the combiner set, a follow on to the reimagined Multiforce Gaia Cross. This set is named Gaia Guardian and is based on the Protectobots - with a couple of extra members. The six Protectobots here are named Streetwise, First Aid, Graze (aka Blades), Groove, Skyfeather and Heatrock. Streetwise, First Aid, Graze and Groove are all looking to be faithful updates to the original Protectobots from these images - the two newcomers, Skyfeather and Heatrock, a VTOL plane and a drill tank, are homages to a pair of Brave characters. All six together merge into the super robot, Gaia Guardian. But there's more! As alluded to in an interview graciously translated by 2005 Boards member SydneyY, this is a full on Kabaya Scramble City combiner - Kabaya Transformers Wave 5 Hot Spot can merge with the Gaia Guardian to form a full-on Defensor update, God Guardian!

Are you as excited as me? Sound off on our 2005 Boards!

Update: Now up for preorders at our sponsors TFSource!

A new image has reached us of the Transformers Prime Arms Microns - the new mold, non-exclusive ones. These guys are set to be Capsule Toys. Four are shown so far, and from this and previous images, we believe this is only the first assortment! Shown here are two Autobot and two Decepticon Arms Microns - the Autobots convert into guns, and the Decepticons into melee weapons including a nasty looking buzzsaw axe thing. Their robot modes are equally divided based on their faction - the Autobots get robot modes, while the Decepticons get animal modes, a chameleon and a cobra. Pretty awesome!

2005 Board Member, firehawc_69, has recieved his annual pass member newsletter from Universal Studios Hollywood. The main focus from Universal Studios in this newsletter is advertising the premier commercial for Transformers The Ride, which will air during the Super Bowl Pregame show on NBC this coming Sunday.

The newsletter also advertises lots of Transformers merchandise for sale in the park. Everything from toys, hats, shirts and accessories.

Take a look at the scan of the newsletter by clicking the title bar and then head over to the 2005 Boards to discuss.
