Thailand store Toys2mail Station has opened up a preorder for yet another, Fall of Cybertron Bruticus. This time, with a full on Generation 2 color scheme. This marks the third version of these figures along with the "game accurate" San Diego Comic Con version and the regular "Energon Colors" Hasbro Generations version.
At the beginning of May we announced a possible Amazon exclusive gift set for the Fall of Cybertron Bruticus figure. Just this past week, it was announced that Amazon will be offering a Generation 2 version of Bruticus to be used in single player mode for preordering Fall of Cybertron through their website. Could this be the upcoming Amazon exclusive gift set? Keep checking back for more info! |

A small update for you now - Japanese online site Ami Ami have updated with a new image of the upcoming Kabaya Transformers Gum "Cybertron Base" series, which are three little sets with small robots and bases for them - with the added bonus that all three bases can combine into a Kabaya version of the biggest Transformer of them all, Fortress Maximus.
This new image shows us that as an added bonus, the Kabaya Fortress Maximus will include his Master Sword - a Japanese-exclusive accessory with the 1987 release of Fortress Maximus which carried over to the later Grand Maximus release and the weapon used by Omega Prime in the finale of Robots in Disguise. The Kabaya version of the Master Sword remains as proportionally huge as the original sword, and comes in the set that includes one of Fort Max's legs and a Kabaya version of Minibot Powerglide. These are due for a release in July - I can hardly wait! |

CM's Corporation have updated their website with another batch of new images of their Guttu Kuru Minerva figure. These latest pictures are mostly "action" and posed shots. There's also a shot of the figure in its box, which is a nicely designed callback to the style of the Masterforce packaging, specifically the likes of the Godmaster figures such as Aquastar and Zetoca.

The latest new upgrade kit from third party group CrazyDevy continues their trend of producing third party upgrades for third party upgrades. This time out they are bringing out a Bruticus head for the FansProject Colossus set (aka the FansProject Bruticus). This head has light up eyes, and boasts it not only fits inside the original Onslaught figure in his non-combined modes, but that it is also fully compatible with the original ball joint. It's due for a release in July priced at just shy of $30.

Headrobots have dropped by to share with us not one but two updates! First up is their Blood DX, the long-awaited customization kit for Deluxe Revenge of the Fallen Decepticon Bludgeon. The kit converts the vehicle mode from an APC into a full-on tank, with the robot mode sporting the classic Bludgeon samurai look (Headrobots wishes to point out that the maroon color on the helmet is prototype only - in the final version, the helmet will be brown to match the rest of the vehicle mode)
The set is going up for preorder at retailers now - such as at Big Bad Toy Store. It's due for a release in the third quarter 2012. Second is a kit which is currently only a proof-of-concept, internal to Headrobots only. It is called "Black King", a Transformers Cybertron Dark Scorponok to Black Zarak upgrade kit, with new claws, scorpion legs, spear, helmet (with Headmaster), feet and cannons - essentially all the important parts to make Dark Scorponok into Black Zarak. Here's the rub - it is internal only right now. It would cost $100-120 to release and would be done in installments like CrazyDevy, if it is released. If you want to buy it, you'll need to show your support by liking Headrobot's Facebook post. |

Hot on the heels of the news of his release we've got some in-hand pictures of the Transformers the Ride exclusive Evac. The Universal Studios exclusive Autobot is based on the vehicle from Transformers the Ride, and pleasingly features the gull wing doors of the ride vehicle, a nice touch. The design of the toy fits in well with other Movieverse toys, especially with guys like Dark of the Moon's Wreckers.
Read on to check out the pics. |

Here for you today we have something a bit special. You might recall a month back a little something called Botcon 2012 took place in Dallas Texas. In spite of a few troubles in the lead up, a great time was had by all - so here is TFW's review of Botcon 2012! What we have here is something a little different from our past post-convention roundups, so we hope you might enjoy the different take.
Read on to check it out. Enjoy everyone! I'd also like to say a big thanks to all the good people who contributed content to this review. This would not have been half as awesome as it is without your help and support! |

News in from Universal Studios Hollywood now - we've got our first new toy release of the month of June for you! The all-new character from Transformers the Ride, Evac, has a Deluxe Class toy exclusive to the Universal Studios park, and 2005 Boards member TheTFReview sent us this picture showing that the new member of the Movieverse Autobot team is being well stocked at Universal Studios Hollywood. He comes with a higher than average pricetag though as you might expect for a theme park exclusive toy, and that is $21.95. As you can also see in the bottom of the picture, the exclusive repack of Deluxe Optimus Prime (and, we assume, Bumblebee) are also now in the ride's giftshop.
