Once again Zap2it is bringing us the Title and the Description of Transformers: Prime Season 3; Beast Hunters Episode 07.
The episode title is called "Plus One" and it will air on 31st May, 2013 on Hasbro-Discovery Hub TV Network. The episode description is a bit awkward, but we'll keep it under spoilers just in case: "While on a mission to gather a Precadon bone relic, Agent Fowler finds himself in a tight squeeze with Jack's mother." |

Some exciting new 3rd party news courtesy of our sponsors. We now have preorders for the next two Unofficial Stunticon figures, CA-11 Last Chance and CA-12 Down Force (aka Dead End and Dragstrip). Not only do we get some nice, new images for these two but they are scheduled for release in June and July respectively. Also shown for the first time from Fansproject's unofficial Stunticons is our first clear look at their version of MotorMaster in vehicle and robot mode courtesy of Fansproject's website. No preorder is listed for this version of Motor Master, labeled as Crossfire 03-M3, but he is estimated for a September release
Lastly, along with the new preorders for CA-11 and CA-12 are preorders for Maketoy's Chaos Paladin figure. Which is the long awaited 3rd party The Fallen figure. You can lock in your preorders for these figures below: CA-11 Last Chance - BBTS - TFsource CA-12 Down Force - BBTS - TFsource Maketoys Chaos Paladin - BBTS - TFsource Check this space as more preorders go live from our other sponsors. ToyWorld have updated their website with images of prototypes of not one, not two but three new upcoming releases. First up is their TW-H02 "Brainstorm" Headmaster, a follow-on to their Hardbone. Next is TW-02, the partner piece to their first release Hegemon, based on IDW's version of Optimus Prime. Lastly images of TW-T03 have been posted. That one is thought to be an unofficial version of the red Throttlebot, Chase.
Check out the images on ToyWorld's homepage. |

Not major news like Kelsey Grammer casting, but some tiny casting news from Transformers 4. Apparently, the Auditions for Transformers 4 Chinese Cast are off to a great start. As Yahoo News found out, there is going to be 6 roles available with 2 slots already filled by Li Bingbing and Wu Xiubo.
2005 Boards Member TFtoycollector is bringing us the news that over 50,000 Chinese actors will audition for a role on TF4 and among them some famous actors such as Huang Xiaoming, Chen Kun and top star, Peter Ho. The names of course are new to Hollywood but in China their reputation precedes them. Casting of Chinese Actors for Transformers 4 is a move to market movies to China where an emerging (and potentially huge) market for Hollywood movies exist. This move is endorsed by both Paramount and Hasbro. We are yet to hear about the Robot Cast of Transformers 4. Director Michael Bay declared that they’ll be bringing in New Characters and Old Characters will go through a “Full Redesign”. The six Chinese actors will join Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammer and Stanley Tucci for the upcoming movie. Josh Duhamel meanwhile is said to make Cameo Appearance in Transformers 4 |

The next new Transformers toy to get featured in our galleries is the hot new Decepticon addition to the Generations line, Blitzwing! Blitzwing has been in demand ever since the first assortment of Transformers Classics toys gave us an Astrotrain in 2006, a demand that only increased with the addition of Octane to the Universe line in 2008. It's been a long time coming, but Blitzwing has finally arrived in the Classics series.
Blitzwing is a Voyager class toy, and he feels nice and substantial. He has plenty of articulation and nice big feet which take his weight really well. The shoulders are a bit awkward out of the box - they pop out very easily - though there are ways to modify them for a better fit; check out one such modification in our Radicons Customs section here. Blitzwing features both his alternate modes, jet and tank, and they do a good job of being distinct from each other thanks to some rather clever tricks. In a homage to the Transformers Animated Blitzwing, Generations Blitzwing sports the three different faces of that character, an excellent and fun touch. Overall Blitzwing is a great toy. The shoulders are the weakest point about him, along with some of the more rubbery parts, but I would invite you to look past that and see just how much of a masterwork this new, definitive version of Blitzwing really is. Dr Wu is branching out from accessories, as this post on Facebook group Meteor Operation reveals - Dr Wu will be venturing into making full Transformers, and he'll be making unofficial WST ones like Heero Toys Maker and JustiToys. Unlike Heero and JustiToys though it seems his releases will be closer to Legends / Legion size class, will updated articulation compared to the original toys.
The first release shown so far is an unlicensed take on Generation 1 Perceptor, strongly based on the toy and featuring all three modes - check it out. |

Few days back we saw the IDW Bumblebee Mold Test Shots. Today, 2005 Boards Member cobra zartan is bringing us some test shots of upcoming IDW Trailcutter/Trailbreaker.
Trailcutter is a part of Hasbro's "Thrilling 30" anniversary campaign. The toy design is based on Alex Milne's character in the IDW More Than Meets the Eye Comic Book Series of the same name. Like the Bumblebee figure you saw on May 1st, this too is a Prototype Pre-Production design. These images will give you an idea on how the final product may look like, but actual design may vary. |

Our sponsors Robot Kingdom have updated their Facebook page with details of the next Dr Wu release. DW-P15 Rain Storm is a four-barreled chaingun, based off of the design of the weapon that Springer used in his final fight against Overlord at the end of Last Stand of the Wreckers. Speculation is it might also look good on your Prime Skyquake, but for now check out the pictures of this unlicensed accessory.

Hisashi Yuki has kicked off the new week by uploading a pair of new images to his Twitter account. These latest images show off Metroplex's chest bay door open with Scamper posing on the resulting platform - check out the articulation on Scamper, he even appears to have some movement in his head!
In a second image, we get another sense of just how big Metroplex is. In his first image of Metroplex's full robot mode, Hisashi Yuki is showing us Metroplex posed as if running - demonstrating some of the big guys articulation. By way of impressing just how massive this toy is, three Legends class Transformers toys are stood in front of Metroplex, looking positively tiny in comparison to the big guy. |

The official Transformers Facebook page has updated with official images revealing the fourth assortment of Transformers Generations Legends. Legends Wave 4 is the Decepticon assortment, and will feature Megatron with Chop Shop and Starscream with Waspinator!
As is the style with the Generations 30th Anniversary toys, these are based on the IDW comics designs, with Megatron sporting his "Megatron Origin / Chaos Theory" Cybertronian design and a tank alternate mode. Starscream meanwhile features the modernized Generation 1 style design originally featured in the artwork of E.J. Su in the Transformers: Infiltration miniseries. Check out the images of the new two-packs and see what you think of them. |

A while back, actor Tyrese Gibson announced that he is in talks for Transformers 4. However, 7 months later Mr. Gibson spoke to Moviehole regarding the matter. He had this to say...
"It’s looking like an appearance might happen. I haven’t got that phone call yet, officially. We’ll see what happens." We also learned that Josh Duhamel is to make a cameo appearance on Transformers 4. It seems as though Tyrese Gibson's role in the upcoming movie may be the same. Only time will tell. |

The Wrap is reporting that actress Sophia Myles has joined the cast of Transformers 4. According to the article, her role will be a major supporting role that might be a scientist.
Most of you may know her as Madame de Pompadour from one of the most heart-warming Doctor Who episodes; The Girl in the Fireplace. She is a very skilled actress notable for her roles in movies such as Underworld, Thunderbirds (2004) and Out of Bounds. |

An article on Nick and More pulls together a few points from recent Hasbro press releases, wherein they have taken to referring to "The Hub" as "Hub Network". While not official yet, the article points out that the web address HubNetwork.com is registered to The Hub's SVP of Business and Legal Affairs. They have also posted an updated logo, retaining the distinctive shape and coloration of the network's logo, but bearing the new title.
As yet though there is no word on when the change from "The Hub" to "Hub Network" will officially take place, but speculation is that June 1, with that month's new premieres, is a possible point the changeover may happen. |
