British Board Of Film Classifications has rated a new 33 second Trailer for Transformers: Age Of Extinction.
Rated 12A, this trailer is distributed by Paramount Pictures UK. The classification was done today and we do not know of the content of the trailer. Do keep in mind that the Super Bowl TV Spot was also 33 seconds long and we have recently seen an updated version of the said trailer. Hat tip goes out to TFW2005 boards member ki1983ng for pointing us in the direction of MakeToys website, which happened to reveal a full blown product that looks ready to be shipped out to collectors! No blacked out silhouette teaser this time around, MakeToys has just revealed their City Bot Series with MCB-002 Utopia!
Utopia is MakeToy's take on the Generation 1 Cityformer Metroplex. Although not much is known about this project, MakeToys supplied a full gallery of all the bells and whistles of the project that is listed for July 2014 - how accurate that is we are unsure since no preorder information has gone up yet. Images reveal robot mode, city mode, and carrier mode, as well as accessories that include two blasters and what appears to be a small vinyl figure (no details yet given on who the character is). Check out the full gallery after the jump and keep it here on TFW as new updates come through for MakeToys Utopia! |

Following on from yesterday's reveal of the next Transformers cartoon's Bumblebee, TFW2005 member Rogzilla has tipped us off about a post made by one of the storyboard artists, Matthew Humphreys, who was a member of Transformers: Prime's creative team and is also working on the new show. In it, he clarifies that the image we saw is not necessarily indicative of how the final product will look:
"I can’t say much because you know the reasons. But I just feel the need to say that with our new show being announced the artwork shown on various sites is NOT a good representation of what the designs look like fully fleshed out. The new show looks amazing and I’m having a ton of fun working on it and I hope everyone watches when it comes out." So, what do you think about this revelation? Share your thoughts on the boards after the jump! |

We are keep getting more and more confirmation of a possible third robot mode for Transformers: Age Of Extinction Optimus Prime.
Dubbed as The Silver Knight, this new Optimus is a silver colored version of the Western Start Optimus Prime with certain changes to the armor. It was only two days ago that we saw Silver Knight Optimus Prime during the Australian Toy Fair as a Plushie. The first official mention came from the New York Toy Fair 2014 where an AOE Kre-O set featured this possible third robot mode. Today, a Fleece Throw by Target is also mentioning the Silver Knight Optimus Prime. Check it out after the jump. |

The movie is yet to be released but it has already "won" 2 awards. Transformers: Age Of Extinction stars Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz has landed the best Rising Stars (Male and Female respectively) awards from this year's Cinemacon.
During the 2011 Cinemacon, actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also won the award for "Female Star of Tomorrow". Back then, we were treated with interviews and tiny plot details from the third Live Action Transformers Movie by Michael Bay. We should expect the same on 27th March. The press release we received also contains a synopsis for Transformers 4 (Spoilers). Check out the full press release, after the jump. Stay tuned with TFW2005 for more info. |

2005 Boards member Hired Goons had the opportunity to interview with one and only Mairghread Scott (writer of the Windblade comic) for the Facebook page, Robots With Coffee.
Scott has worked on multiple pieces of Transformers fiction before, including Transformers Prime, Rage of the Dinobots and Beast Hunters. And that is one of the many topics she discussed in this great interview which you can read here. Photo by Jason Enright. |

The Masterpiece news has been pouring in, and Shogo Hasui updated his Twitter feed once again with another image of the Exosuit accessory for Masterpiece-21 Bumble. While we've seen images of the Exosuit before, it's been just a bit unclear as to whether or not the human character is Daniel or Spike. Hasui-san confirms the identity is Spike in his latest tweet:
"The MP-21 Bumble scheduled for release in November, Spike wearing the suit Excel is attached. While small-scale, in addition to complete transformation without replacement to vehicle mode, posing also enabled some."Spike certainly makes sense as the choice, given his longtime friendship to Bumble[bee]. |

Thanks to a recent Target shopping trip by TFW2005 boards member TFPrime, we've spotted a few Transformers merchandise oddities that may be fun to add to your collection.
First up are two coin banks of Transformers Prime characters Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. They are hand painted ceramic and are priced at $12.99 each. Also found were Transformers Prime "Mashem" figures, which are advertised as "super squishy" and are meant to be flung around like a sling shot. The pack found includes Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Soundwave, and Megatron. TFPrime was also nice enough to share in-hand images of a separate haul of his recently acquired Universal Studios figures of Generation 1 Megatron, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Also shared were in-hand images of the Kinder and Ferrero eggs which come with Transformers Prime characters that can be built. Check out the images after the jump! |

Transformers comic artist Alex Milne has shared some cool new artwork on his Deviant Art account. In More than Meets the Eye #27, Arcee sports a new body, and what Alex has shared with us is a look at his design for that new body.
It's important to bear in mind that this is not necessarily based on the upcoming Arcee toy - Alex states it is based on a concept design he got from Hasbro, which he thinks Hasbro might base the toy off of - but it's not by any means a done deal. In any event, check out this cool bit of artwork and be sure to read Alex Milne's notes on the piece for a bit of an insight into the design process. |

Newsarama has posted our first look at the IDW Transformers universe post-Dark Cybertron with a short preview of Robots in Disguise issue #28, the first of the issues to be released under the "Dawn of the Autobots" banner. The action is returning to Earth, and it brings us back to visit a character we've not seen a lot of since the Transformers left Earth nearly two years ago.
Be warned, there are some spoilers in this preview, although the ending of Dark Cybertron is one thing that you won't spoil for yourself. Check out the preview at Newsarama. |
