And arriving on sight to clean up the ruckus caused by a certain Speedster, we have what appears to be renders of an upcoming take by Mastermind Creations, Studio Ox inspired Hot Spot, Maximus Pro! The renders, were spotted by TFW2005 member godotislate, and were located on Ocular Max's website. Ocular Max appears to be the subline, or perhaps the name for the group of Mastermind Creations' designers who are focusing on bringing designs made by Studio Ox designs to life in toy form. Now go ahead and check out the pics, and discuss this latest iteration of Hotspot after the jump!

Fellow board member, Sockie, has found a preview of Transformers #41 Combiner Wars Part 4 on Comic Book Resources. Some very interesting actions are going on in this issue, Starscream is still extending his reach to the colony worlds, especially Caminus, Optimus facing off with Prowl, and what may be the biggest battle ever between the Combiners!

The release date for Transformers #41 is May 20th.

Thanks to Autobas Aichi via Facebook, we have new images of Optimus Prime and Megatronus's appearance in the ongoing series Robot in Disguise. These images provides us with a first look at Megatronus' on screen appearance in the show, as well as Optimus Prime donning his Clash of Transfomers Armor.

As we said before, this is the first appearance of Megatronus after his debut in the Transformers: Robots In Disguise Mobile Game. Also, Megatronus seems to be carrying a weapon with a striking resemblance to the weapon The Fallen had on the Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. That particular weapon was known as the Command Staff in the said continuity. This begs the question, "Is this Megatronus... The Fallen?".

Another very important fact is that Optimus Prime now sports his Clash Of Transformers toy look (as revealed on the Transformers: Robots In Disguise App Update Version 1.2). This further clarifies the upcoming subline which is currently in the rumor status until officially revealed (or leaked).

It is unclear which episode these frames will appear in, but be sure to check back for more update. Before that happens though, check out that images and share your thoughts after the break.

Earlier, we we had our first look at the Clash Of The Transformers Optimus Prime and Megatronus from the Transformers: Robots In Disguise Animated Series. But this isn't the first time both of them were seen. On the recent App Update for the Transformers: Robots In Disguise Mobile Game, we had our first look at the Clash Of The Transformers subline which is rumored to arrive soon.

The line consists of repaints and/or remolds of the current toys including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Sideswipe.

So, we've decided to unlock the toys from the upcoming subline to get an idea of what we'll be getting. Check them out, after the jump.

It saddens us to bring you the news that the voice actor John Stephenson has passed at the age of 91. Mr Stephenson had been suffering from declining health due for a number of years, and Alzheimer's. Sadly, he passed away on Friday.

Mr Stephenson had an impressive career spanning over half a century, both as an "on-screen" actor and also for his voiceover work. One of his most famous roles was of the voice of Fred Flintstones' boss, Mr Slate, in The Flintstones. To Transformers fans, he will be remembered as the voice of several characters from the original Generation 1 series, including Thundercracker, Kup, and Alpha Trion.

Please view the original report of Mr Stephenson's passing at News From Me. You can view a full list of roles Mr Stephenson is credited with at the IMDB.

Good news for those eagerly awaiting this year's TCC exclusive toys - they are arriving! Lio Convoy, the membership freebie for 2015, has started to arrive in the hands of fans including TFW member Primal Sabbath, who tipped us off on this one. Lio Convoy is a retooled version of Generations Orion Pax with a new head to resemble the Cybertron commander from the 1998 Japan-only Beast Wars side-story, Beast Wars Second.

In related news, the Figure Subscription Service 3.0 has also begun shipping out. This year's set of six figures includes the likes of Krok, Nacelle, G2 Starscream, Carzap, Serpent O.R., and Tarantulas. Who will be the first to arrive? Watch this space (or your mailboxes) to find out!

Via the Facebook account of Youtube reviewer Ben's Collectables we have an in-hand look at Bold Forms' Lone Wolf. Lone Wolf is an unoffiicial take on Generation 1 Motormaster using the full trailer look rather than the cab-only option of the Combiner Wars release. Back when it was announced it was as the first in a set of five unlicensed Stunticons, but since then Hasbro announced their Combiner Wars Stunticons and Lone Wolf was redesigned to serve as a new central torso for Menasor. These images give us a look at the figure, fully painted and in all its modes, including combined with Hasbro's Combiner Wars Stunticons as Menasor.

Details have been posted on Zap2it of the grande finale of season 3 of Transformers Rescue Bots. It sounds like things are gearing up, big-time. Things kick off with what sounds like a first for Transformers - an episode composed mainly of characters singing in I Have Heard the Robots Singing (okay, technically, it's the second, but the less said of Carnage in C-Minor the better).

From there it is on to what sounds like a two-part season finale with season 3 episode 25 Now and Then and episode 26 Today and Forever - a truly awesome title for what sounds like the most epic of finales. Full details are spoiler-tagged below:

S3 E24 I Have Heard the Robots Singing: Tensions arise on the team after Doc's new invention causes everyone to sing instead of talk.
S3 E25 Now and Then: The Island of Griffin Rock vanishes from the ocean.
S3 E26 Today and Forever: In order to save Griffin Rock, the Rescue Bots must make the ultimate sacrifice.

No airdates are given for the episodes, but given current trends we'd expect to hear robots singing on 6 June, and the finale over the following two weeks, 13 June and 20 June. We'd not rule out the possibility of a double-bill on 13 June, though. Watch this space for more news, and watch Discovery Family Channel at 1:30pm EST every Saturday for more new episodes through into the beginning of June.

We've got several sightings of the duly appointed enforcer of the Tyrest Accord at US retail - yes, it looks like Combiner Wars Leader Ultra Magnus has arrived on store shelves. Ultra Magnus was spotted in all his IDW-inspired glory at a series of Wal-Marts in Texas, including two independent reports from the Luis Henna Walmart.

In a slightly bizarre, but not unprecedented twist, it seems that Ultra Magnus (who is Combiner Wars Leader Wave 3) has actually managed to beat Thundercracker (who is Wave 2) to store shelves. This happened a year ago with the latter Generations Legends class assortments, so while unusual, it is not completely unheard of, and there is a possibility Thundercracker is also in the wild but simply not confirmed as yet.

The stores to check are Wal-Marts, particularly if you are in the Texas area. Happy hunting, Transformers fans!

Industrial Light & Magic (or ILM for short) is the heart of the Transformers Live Action Movies. They give birth to the Cybertronians we know and love. It so happens that they are celebrating their 40th Anniversary and has reserved a special place for Director Michael Bay and the Transformers.

"In the early 1980s, a teenager named Michael Bay had a summer job at Lucasfilm, filing artwork. Two decades later he would become ILM’s most … hands-on collaborator."

X-Transbots today released new bot-mode renders of their upcoming attempt at a Masterpiece-styled Cyclonus.

This figure is slated to be the third release in their MX-line, after Apollyon (Megatron) who has recently been released to fairly positive reviews and Andreas (Scourge) who just today went up for pre-order at all the site sponsors.

For those who are looking to expand their Masterpiece collection beyond the typical Season 1 and 2 characters to include post-movie characters, this is an excellent opportunity to do just that and to add some diversity to your collection.

Check out the new pictures and decide for yourself if this figure fits into your Masterpiece collection. Did they nail the aesthetic? Is the alt mode scaled properly or are the wings too short? Is this the definitive version of Cyclonus you've always wanted? Stop by to discuss on the boards.

Over on Taobao there is an interesting auction that has popped up for 4 Generations Waspintor repaints. With Botcon around the corner most of us are assuming this is the possible troop builder set that we've seen at previous shows. The repaints appear to be Buzzsaw, Halloween Horrorcon Waspinater, and the other two still are a mystery. Botcon is only 30 days away so we will know by then!

Share your guesses about the repaints in the discussion after the jump!
