The fans over at the Transformers Galaxy Facebook group have uploaded photos of third party accessorizer Dr. Wu's upcoming DW-P05 Eyesight. The LED pods in this set come in Hercules color-matched black and green, with a red and blue LED respectively. The units' 5mm post will let you use these to illuminate Hercules' eyes, add a reflex scope to his weapon, add spotlights to the individual Hercules team members, and more. The possibilities and limitless!

Transformers Galaxy has posted an extensive gallery of the upcoming Transformers Prime Robots In Disguise Hot Shot figure to their Facebook fan page. This redeco of Bumblebee features a new head mold and a sharp blue color scheme reminiscent of bots such as Tracks and Nightbeat. There are a few comparison shots with RID Bumblebee as well as pictures of robot mode and vehicle mode from various angles. This upcoming figure will be a part of Revealers Wave 3 along with new molds, Vehicon and Knockout.
We've mirrored the images for your enjoyment, be sure to give them a look through and then post your thoughts on the 2005 Boards. |

This year's Botcon is all about Shattered Glass - and getting the party started early is "the Mech with the Mouth", the Shattered Glass Autobot Drift! A red redeco of the Generations Drift, Shattered Glass Drift is a big robot homage to Marvel Comic's own Deadpool. To cement this fact he comes with an additional pair of accessories, the pair of pistols that came with Generations Blurr. He's also got a fun homage to G.I. Joe on his shortswords - and if all else fails, he's about two Decepticon symbols away from being a decent stand-in for the Decepticon Deadlock, Drift's former self.

Of the so-far announced Transformers Prime toys for Japan, there is one all new, and as of this time, Japan only character. That character is Skywarp, a redeco of First Edition Starscream with new accessories. While the other characters (presumably) have bios similar to their US releases, Skywarp is a newcomer. So what is his story? Well fear not, because Hydra of The Allspark has provided a translation of the bio!
Skywarp is a member of the Decepticon aerial group the Seekers. He outwardly resembles Starscream, but lacks his scheming nature, instead loyally obeying Megatron. True to hs name, he specializes in warp attacks. Lurking in the shadows of the Decepticons, he rarely makes his presence known, but his ninja-like attacks with his shuriken-shaped Arms Micron menace the Autobots. All credit to Hydra for the translation. Check out some of his other translated Japanese Transformers material at TF Pulp. |

Hey Transformers fans!
If you can remember that far back, a year ago TFW2005.COM started our own E-Magazine entitled TFWe, written and put together by fans for fans, having everything from discussion on news to toy reviews to editorials and "did you knows"! For six glorious months and six glorious issues, we toiled to put out the very best that we could. Every month we'd even make a .PDF version for everyone to download and read on their favorite tablets, etc. To make a long story short, we took some much needed time off around the Holidays to re-group, re-think, and re-strategize everything we wanted to do. And with this month being our 1 year anniversary, we're bringing TFWe back to you, our faithful readers, on a regular consistent schedule once again! What's new you might ask? - Full issues come out bi-monthly. Look for the first issue soon! - Weekly articles by TFWe writers! - More focus on you, the fan, and the TFW2005.COM community! - And more that we can't talk about yet! Need a refresher? Check out all the past issues of TFWe by clicking here! And to kick-off this whole new chapter in TFWe, we've released our very first weekly article ... a commentary about the ever-so-popular subject of Hasbro, Fun Pub, and BotCon ... oh my! Check out the new TFWe article by clicking here! Thank you for your patience and we look forward to entertaining you again very soon! |

TFND.net has provided us with more scans from the same catalog in which we first saw Airachnid, Dead End and Cyberverse Ultra Magnus. This time, we have our first image of Voyager Dreadwing in color. It appears, Dreadwing will be the first use of this mold and not Skyquake afterall. With any luck, fans of Skyquake will see a repaint down the road.
Take a look at the image after the break |

Taking a cue from the classic Generation 1 episode Fire in the Sky, the next upcoming episode of Transformers Rescue Bots will feature the Rescue Bots dealing with freak snow showers in the middle of July! Granted, this time out the episode teases it is down to a broken weather machine rather than Decepticons meddling with some crystals at the pole, but it's always a pleasure to watch the robots in disguise handle the snow!

After the public outcry by the fans over our reported news that the sale of fan art had been banned at BotCon this year, it would appear that the powers that be have decided to reverse the ban that was placed on the artist alley. You can find the statement below:
We're pleased to announce, per Hasbro, that artist tables will be allowed at BotCon 2012 as we have allowed it in the past, and will be permissible as part of the show. Hasbro sympathizes and understands fans' discouragement with the previous statements concerning fan art, and while remaining steadfast in the right to protect its IP in regards to unlicensed merchandise, wants to ensure fans can continue to enjoy the BotCon experience which they know is made so great in large part by the fan community. |

IGN has posted a clip of tomorrow's new episode of Transformers Prime. There are minimal spoilers for the episode itself in the clip - just an entertaining scene involving the Autobot cast feeling a little uneasy around their leader.
Click here to check it out at IGN then share your thoughts on our 2005 Boards. (Special thanks to ken8kuhletz08 for the thumbnail attached to this story) |

We have received a couple of updates from our sponsors at Robot Kingdom. Some new preorders have been added to the store!
First and foremost is the Amazon Exclusive MP-11S Sunstorm. This official Masterpiece Sunstorm is going to be available in August 2012 and as it is an exclusive in Japan will doubtless become a hard to find item - so don't miss this chance! Also now up for preorder is the first assortment of Transformers Prime RC cars. They are up for preorder as a case of 4 (3 Bumblebees and a Knock Out), singles of Bumblebee are also available. These are due for release in the second half of April, so not long to wait for these. |

Here's a random bit of fun Transformers Prime merchandise that has popped up in Dollar Tree - Transformers Prime crayons! The jumbo crayons come 10 to a box and feature artwork of Bumblebee pointing his gun at a prospective buyer as if to say "yeah, leave these on the pegs, IF YOU DARE".
In all seriousness it's another oddity for those of you who collect the non-toy merchandise. The colors just have generic names though - no official "Bumblebee yellow" crayon for you! |

The sixth of the Japanese neighborhood Primes, Ginza Prime, has been revealed. For those who missed our previous coverage, the Primes of Japan are a set of six characters based on existing Autobots and traits of the local neighborhoods who they are assigned to, as a part of the Cybertron Satellite promotion. Ginza Prime here is based on the Movie Optimus Prime, his silver coloration based on Ginza's historic silver-coin minting, from which the area of Ginza takes its name.

Exciting tidbit of news coming from the Snakas Blog, as it's been revealed that the exclusive for the Transformers Generations 2012 book is none other than Artfire! This exclusive was guessed by many when the character appeared in the comic from Transformers Generations 2011 Volume 2. Artfire is (presumedly) a remold of Reveal the Shield Grappel, with Inferno's head and an Arms Micron. It is unknown if the Arms Micron is a new mold, or a redeco at this time.
This is but a teaser image, as TFW2005 user Ricochet has pointed out, with the official reveal and full-on images to be revealed in the coming weeks. |

It seems we are not quite done with "The Primes of Japan" just yet, as a seventh has just been posted up by Snakas. Saitama Prime is the mascot of the Saitama region of Japan, and is based on Bumblebee. His regional influence derives from an alternate spelling of Saitama in Japanese (彩玉市 instead of 埼玉市), where the kanji for "Sai" (彩) can also mean "colorful".
Check out more on the other Primes of Japan and the recently revealed Ginza Prime. |

Business Wire is reporting that Hasbro Studios has done a deal with Netflix to bring its content to multiple platforms across the US. Why this is great news for Transformers fans? Netflix already hosts Transformers Prime, but under this deal, Netflix will also soon be adding Transformers Generation 1, Beast Wars and Rescue Bots later in 2012.
There is also news about when Transformers Prime Season 2 will be available on Netflix. According to the release, Transformers Prime Season 2 will be added after the season finale airs on The Hub. Other shows which will also be coming to Netflix under this new deal are JEM & The Holograms and G.I. Joe: Real American Heroes. Already available on Netflix are My Little Pony, Pound Puppies, G.I. Joe: Renegades and The Adventures of Chuck & Friends, along with the first season of Transformers Prime. |

... well, perhaps "new" is the wrong word as all four of these have been around before, but never in the same assortment before.
2005 Boards member HoosierDaddy reports finding some new Legends Class toys in his local Dollar General. The four toys in the assortment come on generic backer cards, so are not just old Reveal the Shield stock but a new run. The assortment consists of: Reveal the Shield Legends Optimus Prime Reveal the Shield Legends Starscream Universe 2.0 Legends Megatron Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Bumblebee (Cyberverse Evolution Set) The Bumblebee is a true oddity, since he is a single pack version of a previous Toys R Us exclusive multipack. This version also omits the big honkin' Autobot symbol on his chest that the last release had. The other three seem largely unchanged from their first releases. They run for $6 each. |
