I got that MU sandman, is that the one that is more 2.75 than 3.75?

We got that one and gave it to a neighbours kid and will wait until we get an official one

It is a shame about the scale as it a really nice figure, I would love a Vulture and we do seem to be getting more spidey villians so anything could happen

if you were going to do a diorama then Sandman would not be too difficult due to his ability to change scale you could in theory use any size figure as a base and his paint scheme is quite simple.

I just felt that the scale of the figure and the way it was sold was seriously misleading and if I was a kid ordering it I would feel robbed

Sand is real easy to do, all you need is to find a shape that is suitable.

Water down some pva glue, coat the shape in glue then dip it in sand no need to paint or texture as its all done for you you could even spray coat the item to stop looses sand coming off

sorry guys today i would have loved to be showing some latest MU's to land over on our side, but it turned out to be a bit of a "red herring" my LCS actually got a different order than the one he was expecting.so looks like i have to resort to online shopping till they arrive,oh and apparently the doc strange/surfer pack is the next to arrive over here,so expect it to turn up at places like FP.

Has anyone seen any of the old TRU Iron Man 2 Fury of Combat 4-packs knocking around? I missed the chance to pick one up dirt cheap when they were selling them off last year locally.

Thanks,
V

You can get Iceman for around £4 delivered from ebay seller happyeverydaysales, I have the clear surfer and the Iceman and prefer the smokey look of the Iceman figure, even if you get the one with the silver x painted on you can remove that with nail polish remover for a classic look

Picked up an Avengers Black Widow in TESCOS for £6.

Asda still has a pretty big assortment of Avengers,Amazing Spidey and MU but they are STILL around £9 - but they have reduced those TDKR Batman figures to £3...*ahem*

SpikeyK, I've pre-ordered Punisher, Kang, She-Hulk, Scarlett Witch and Spidey from Star and do so with absolute confidence that i'll get mint fgures as soon as they are available.
I've not seen Beast in the uk anywhere but lucked out and found a US ebayer selling a pretty funky set of Beast, Beta Ray Bill and Kraven for £35 (delivery included). Occasionally it's the only way to go but Star and Kapow are an absolute life-line for collectors.
