OK, a bit off topic, but curious.

If you freaks are anything like me, purchases aren't limited to strictly the 3.75's (or even Marvel for that matter.)

Like ever browse eBay and find something...and be like "oh sh*t that's cool, and it's cheap!?"

Like ok in the past month, I've picked up (all MOC) a Han-Chewy 2002 "escape from Death Star" 2 pack, about 7 McFarlane's (for like $3-$5 a piece), a horsehead mask, and a bottle of "Liquid Ass". I'm 36 on Thursday, and I bought a bottle of "Liquid Ass."

OK, so what do you guys dig?

I first started collecting Transformers then went to Marvel Universe and now have a wide variety of other toys that Ive picked up along the way. I just started collecting GI Joes as well. I basically pick up anything that reminds me of my childhood or that catches my eye.
Check out my collection thread to see the variety that I collect. Im missing my shelf that has my UFC figures and some of my other stuff but this shows most of my favorite stuff.

I buy and build sci fi models- even occasionally making one that's cast and sold to others- and that's my main love.
However, collecting comics got me through some rough times and I still read damn near all of Marvel's line (my roommate buys 'em and I read his). Waaaaay back, I bought the original Secret Wars line when it came out (I was eleven) and when I saw they were making new Secret Wars figs, I had to have them....and I was drawn into the sordid world of MU 3.75 collecting!

Back when I was a kid, me and a friend used to while away hours on the phone thinking what figure they should make (sound familliar?) and now they are finally making all my childhood dream figures, so I'm in for this line....
But I've bought a few Gi Joes for their lovely guns and am making several customs (like Baron Strucker).

Some of my models and figures can be found here:

-Transformers (mostly CHUG, little Bay)
-SWCW (females, bounty hunters, some non-Trade Fed droids, and aliens)
-Marvel (other 1/18th Hasbro figs that aren't MU)
-solid ass

That's all right now. I used to buy damn near errrrrrvrything.

Sentai Candy Kits on occasion.
Motion Revive Series figures (If they ever make more T_T)
GI Joe/Renegades. - They work great as Shield spec ops teams.
Of course Marvel figures.
Random DC too.
6'' Mecha figures. (Voltron, Sentai, etc)
Transformers.
MOTUC (Though I only focused on 3 and am done for now. Hordak, she-ra, and King Grayskull.)
Thundercats (soon!)

Though I do tend to stick to smaller scales (6'' robots, 4'' people) I tend to branch out based on what I like or what's prevalent on my display shelves. I try not to diverge to many random lines just because they are cool as that kind of frivolous spending takes away from those I do collect. Some of those times I wait for clearance, like with Dragon Knight to fill MRS holes, and Astroboy. I do like buying 6'' figure bad guys though from PR, as they go great with the 6'' candy kit mechas.

I only buy MU when a character I *really* like comes up. So far that's been limited to Jean Grey. (Though, I also got a Cyclops, Dark Phoenix, and Kitty Pryde). MU seems hellbent on avoiding any character I actually care about. (And some of them aren't even obscure, like Beast or Scarlet Witch!)
My collecting focuses on DCUC, with Green Lantern being top Priority, and favorite families (Green Arrow), Favorite characters (Question) or favorite teams (Teen Titans, Secret Six, Shadowpact) coming in second.

Coming in next with ever increasing distance, are transformers. The more focus that gets put on the movie, or Prime, the more interest I lose.

MU I keep a close eye on, so I don't miss favorite characters.

I collected all kinds of stuff growing up, transformers, gi joe, TMNT, ghost busters, beast wars, Mighty Max (fuck ya), flip deck skateboards and bikes, etc etc.. then when the first Iron man Movie came out I started getting hooked on the figures, got into ebay a bit, bought some loose lot auctions of iron man everything from 10'' toy biz figures to marvel legends, marvel icons, customs etc. I have about 40-50 different Iron man figures now, in all different scales, baf's tons of MU,ML etc, I still have other figures such as robocop, scarface, music figures etc but most is packed away to showcase my marvel stuff. I recently got some tron stuff, avatar amp suit, I try to make some of my own customs in my spare time.

Aside from toys I collect movies,cd,ps3 games, unique/random stuff such as Wooden Masks and figures, artwork, clothing etc.

I'm a sucker for most things in the 3-3/4" or 4" scale. While my Marvel collection is my current favorite, GI Joe is by far my largest and longest running collection. I've got sizable collections of GI Joe, MU (plus the sub lines ala Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, Showdown, etc.), DCIH, Indiana Jones, some Star Wars, and other smaller lines (A-Team, Terminator, etc.). The past 4 years or so has been an absolute dream for 3-3/4" collectors, especially remembering the long long drought before that when pretty much everything cool was 6" or larger.

Outside of 3-3/4" stuff, the occasional Transformer catches my fancy. Recently I found the DC Universe vs. Masters of the Universe packs and absolutely couldn't help but pick up a few of them.

Like any other awesome 33 year old, I also have sizable amounts of Blue Ray/DVDs, video games, and other treasures along the lines of "Liquid Ass".

Of course, you'd never know the extent of my collecting grandeur since married life and twin two year old daughters have pretty much relegated my interests to the basement.
