Wow. You got some awesome willpower... I always feel like if I don't get a certain fig now... I will never get it, so I gotta just man up and buy it at markup.

I bought most of my MU from my LCS at $12-$15 per fig. Luckily I only buy one MU fig every few months though.

Sometimes it's true.
Deadpool for example, or any of the exclusives...

Plus it's cheaper when you only buy one or two, rather than the entire collection.

Keep in mind I live in Canada so the shipping was brutal especially for the big boys.
Paid just about the same for all those..
Nice to see I am not the only one paying those prices

as for Color Vision and Blade that everyone is talking about... I got those at retail when they first came out... Thank God! lol

I think the most I've paid for an MU figure was $77 shipped for a Nick Fury, just because I never bothered to order him when he was available through the digital comics promo. Second would be X-Force Archangel for the standard digital comics price. The rest I've been lucky to get at or around retail prices, except Death Mask Archangel, classic Havok, and Norman-head IP. Those never showed up here, so I paid $15-20 each for them on ebay.

I paid $20 for my Hammer Drone from the Iron Man 2 line. I liked him enough I'm glad I didn't miss out on him. Other than that, I've paid retail for everything else to my knowledge.

Ouch, well maybe this balances out a previous score purchase?

If not I weep for you.

If he had the cash to spare, it was worth it. Thanos rocks.

Does gas count? When I got my first Mandarin I had to drive 300 miles round tripand ended up taking the wife shopping and to dinner in Newport RI. $6 figure $200 in collatarel damage.

i guess it was a different costume from the game Ultimate Alliance. honestly the dark version looks better and comes with a better Silver Surfer

Geez, I still need one of those. I imagine it's going to be even more than that now. Yikes.

Yea he does! I kind-of think the single one is better than the comic 2-pack!

I am not as hardcore as u guys... My most expensive right now is Sentinel for 30 canadian dollars, 50% off from local big retailer. And second one is Archangel from Optimus Vadar on this forum for 25 bux. Third one is my recent MU Cable w/baby loose, got it from ebay for 24 dollars(still hasn't arrive yet)... I don't think I can ever afford those exclusive that cost more than a 100 bux from Evilbay...

Later scores balanced it out nicely...it was just that ONE wave that did not hit stores down here till like febuary (like the current wave seems likely to do) and thanos is one of my alltime favorites...
No regrets though- he is indeed worth it!

On the flip side, I got Warpath, Black Panther and Sunfire loose but perfect for $5 (for all!).
My LCS owner owed me a favor and hooked me up...too bad I passed on the Blade fig- could'a got that for free, but I said it looked like shit (it does) so I left it for him to sell (which he did right away).

I need everything but #41 from the Armored Avenger line. NONE of the stores in Albuquerque got ANY of that line. Iron Man: The Armored Avenger, right?

I remember Thanos being super hard to find for a while... then like that wave hit all over in the new year and Thanos got re-released in two different revision cases right after that I think. I never thought I would ever see Thanos pegwarm... but he did for a little while.

This is how I look at it as well... as a collective sum sort of deal. Like I got lucky and found the DP/Tasky set and Classic Havok at retail, so that made it easier to pay markup for some other stuff.
