So I was messing around with my jim lee punisher from that target 2 pack today. I had swapped his head for the second punisher release head, and I found myself looking at the pursuit of cobra gijoe line.

suffice to say, a major question came up in my head. "Hasbro, you have all this great gijoe tooling, all these fantastic parts......how come your punishers suck so bad!?" seriously, I want a new punisher figure tooled from joe parts. to put it mildly, 25th anniversary roadblocks parts. a new upper chest. a new head, a trench coat, those awesome swivle joe hands, gun holsters, web gear, an a freakin arsenal of weaponry. I have a bucket of old gijoe weapons, from machine guns to flame throwers to chainsaws, ect ect ect. yet my punisher can only hold 1 at a time. So Wheres my Punisher, Hasbro!? Dude. the best thing you can do for your MU soldier types is swap out their weapons and gear with GI Joe stuff and swap all your SHIELD heads for Joe heads- takes a sucky figure and makes it freakin' AWESOME.

Really, a few SHIELD types will become the highlight of your collection. Beachhead and Firefly repaint into xecellent HYDRA officers too! Hopefully there will be come crossover in their sculptors- untill then, it's mix and matxh to get the best results....but I dont expect to see further Punisher figs really- it's got to be tough to market such a violent character alongside Spider-Man and not raise eyebrows. For real fun, swap the first Punisher head onto the Lee body (which you did) and arm him waay overboard with Joe weapons- helmet, four or five guns on straps- te works. |

The guys who do the Marvel stuff are not the same as the ones who work on Joes. Each brand within Hasbro has its own team of designers and sculptors.

Same thing with Transformers and Crossovers (and why most TFs are great and most SWTFs suck).

I figure if u take all 3 versions that have been released you could make a decent figure out them, keep the white gloves and boots from 1 figure, all the weapons combined, and use the head from the 2pack. But like Jason Abbadon, was saying you pretty much have to take it upon yourself to make it, as hasbro really doesn't give as much crap about us as we might think, although adult collectors I would say are the focal point for collecting MU, they still leave us all wanting more, I mean even they're best examples of quality figurs, there's still 1-2 things we'd all probably like to see done or tweaked.

Punisher Custom Action Figure So badass. Looks like Jim Lee's version- much better than the two pack! |

Might I recommend using the DCIH Black Adam head? I shave down the ears slightly but it is spot on.
