As to CW, the writing is wildly inconsistant- there was no editorial oversight of the overall story, so you get shit like the writer of Frontline making Tony worse than Hitler while in other books, like Avengers, he's a good guy stuck in a bad situation and tryng to get everyone to side with him.

They certainly fucked poor Tony in Secret Invasion- everyone turned their backs on him after the big Central Park fight- and right after Tony freed all the skrull captives too!
Man, some of that was crazy- gys like Bucky nad Hawkeye turning on Tony was senseless after all he'd done for them- and just as quickly, after Seige, they love him again with no explanation!

Either the characters or the writers are bipolar!

Hey, Luke suddenly remembered that Tony got killed saving his life from Phionex so his and Danny's forgiving him means something.

Steve came back from the dead like Jesus in scalemail, and if he can forgive Tony, that really means something.

Pepper and maria Hill both got their world's rocked by Tony, and if they can forgive him for not calling, that really fucking means something.
