For me it has to be Team X Wolverine , Its honestly the only figure i've wanted to fuck in the bin the minute i opened it , Terrile paint apps and they already did a far superior version in the XMO line , Also Captain Marvel the choice of body ruined this character for me i was so looking forward to gettin him but i was dissapointed in a big way

I'll cast my vote for Team-X Wolverine as well. A character nobody wanted with paint aps to match.

Not to switch the great topic at hand..but you know which figure I absolutely LOVED when it rolled out? Guardian. Freakin' LOVED him. For Series one, he had a good sculpt and for the first time a shiny paint app. Still love him.

Well I liked the X Force version except mine had insanely loose & crooked legs & almost all of them except the Giant Size X Men & Team X figures were pretty well done. I Just wish the neck wasn't weird.

The black gloved Punisher sucked & only have us a Norman Osborn looking head which I will use for my Green Goblin.

The Spiderman figures that they made (with the primary costume) was weak until the 2 Pack came out because he finally had a well done head sculpt.

The female figures deserve better sculpts as well.

I would have to say Kitty Pryde and Mary Jane; due to their head sculpt. They took away out all the youth and femininity of the characters in my opinion.
As a proof, try switching Black Widow's head with Kitty's hair and place it on Kitty's body. Looks a lot better.

yep, Kitty Pryde looks super hot on the box art, like a tool in the figure.

Really? I personally think the body mold worked perfectly for the Punisher, shape wise anyways. Different hands would of been nice, and the head from the black gloved Punisher would of been nice. All in all, the mold is good, hasbro should just update it, and it ONLY works for the Punisher too :P

I know next to nothing about anyone in the Wrecking Crew except Wrecker himself. However, I do know the Bulldozer fig is the best background villian in MU. Def one of the top ten figs.

Lol. Team X Wolvie is pretty bad. I love that XMO "Strike-(something)" Wolverine though. Give him the Logan headsculpt and works well with my Joes.

Are you saying the GSXM Wolvie wasn't good? If so, I strongly disagree with your above statements.

And guys, Kitty Pryde is supposed to represent an everyday, girl-next-door type of chick, not a super-hottie. And none of the well-known Xavier graduates are really that young anymore. With that said, I think Kitty has one of the best head/face sculpts in MU.

And just so I won't have to say it later-

Wolverine is only 5'3".

AMEN, brother! Amen!
Get the XMO Wolverine in the brown costume, Secret Wars Cyclops, Secret Wars Storm and MU Colussus and Kitty Pryde together for some great scaled figures- All the X-Men you need, right there (Nightcrawler is great but WAY too tall- hunch him over in the background).
Wolverine gets called "runt" because he's a short hairball of a man- Kitty is taller!

For bad figs, the SW Wolvie is pretty bad- only because he has this elongated neck...weird. Like how the iron Fist/human torch body has elongated forearms.

Great topic...I had to chime in...
It's been mentioned already but Kitty, MJ, and Jean Grey. The card art is fantastic but the figure headsculpts are terrible. Jean and MJ have weird proportions and Kitty looks bored.

I like the hulk as a character and as a figure, but I hated the headsculpt, paint aps, on the green and grey versions, and his weird stance he permanetly was has got annoying. ... until the red hulk came then the headsculpt improved dramastically... The new one that's being included in the Avenger's box set looks amazing! I'm not crazy on punisher's head sculpt either, but the 1 thing I really hate is buying all the first series wave figures and not having a base for them to stand on... I refuse to buy starwars/joes just for bases and MU doesn't sell a bulk pack.. they should! I just get tired frankly of all the repaints, variants and CC/MAIL OUT figures... fuck sakes. not MU but blob pisses me off 2 wish it have some more articulation.

Is it just me or does Kitty's face sculpt look like James McAvoy?

The first release of the Jim Lee costume Wolverine is truly awful, now residing in a box since I tracked down the variant with the much better head sculpt. It's still a lousy figure, too tall, loose legs, flimsy blades and impossible to stand in anything but the most rigid pose.
The Jim Lee costume Jean Grey is also a terrible representation of the character.
Both of these guys do have improved versions though, the phoenix costume Jean Grey is great and the many version of Wolverine in the Origins comic line are great.
My absolute least favourite...hmm, the secret wars Reed Richards is a turd, but swapping the head onto a Johnny Storm body solves that...
I can't think of any figures that are a total loss to be honest, they all have merits in their own ways except maybe some of the first wave.
Punisher, bad head sculpt.
Daredevil/Bullseye, too small.
Silver Surfer, not Silver and can barely stand on the board.
Spider-man, flimsy and slightly wonky build.

Comparing that first wave to Cable and Apocalypse from Wave 13 it seems like they're from totally different toy lines.

I totally agree on the part she does not have to be a hottie, but I disagree on the head sculpt, she looks kind of "old" and on some figures, and I hope I am not being politically incorrect, kind of "down syndrome" face.

I was rather disappointed with with comic pack Mr. Fantastic and my hair is on fire Human Torch. I think part of the problem is that I'm displaying the figure with Thing who looks so great that he really brings out the stink in the other two figures.

At least with the flame on Human Torch and the Fantastic Four pack coming out I've got some hope of a nice looking classic Fantastic Four set.

This is true.. the new F4 set will be out soon and will be a nice way for most to have all 4 for the first time displayed. I think for the most part MU when they started tried to flood the market with the lil guys, simply by making cheaper toys and cutting production costs, ie no stands, no 2pack/3packs comic packs, no large figure/small figure packs nothing.... just single carded figures, once they got the $$ they started puting some back into the production value and QA standards... like celldoor mentioned wave 1 compaired to 13 is night and day, you would think it was 2 different companies. The first waves had almost double the amount that are being released in the newer waves, and I think some of that comes down to care, better artwork on the packaging, more articulation and nicer paint.headsculpts, accessories, etc. They still can take it to the next level by increasing # of weapons and add ons, a flight stand, or baf piece would add greatly to the overall value and line I would say! retool the packing to accomidate a baf piece suitable to make either a 6'' or 10'' figure that fits in scale, they could do an alpha flight line and have sasquatch as the baf, or a thor line and have a frost giant or gate keeper as 1, etc.
