Black Series Wave 5 Sandtrooper In Hand Gallery

Black Series Wave 5 is finally here! Well, it’s been out a bit, but only at Walgreens since Hasbro shipped them along with their white Boba exclusive. They are now hitting all the other retailers and Toyark has theirs in hand ready for gallery action. Wave 5, aka 2014 Wave 3, which resets the numbering system too, features a Sandtrooper with black shoulder pauldron, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker from Return of the Jedi. A very very solid line up. This wave is what Black Series is all about in my opinion. Storm Trooper mold is solid

Weathering paint is less drastic than the previous Sandtrooper

Overall
Overall a solid sensible reuse of the mold. The black shoulder pauldron will allow troop builders to rock the ranks in their set ups, and it gives folks like me a reason to buy yet another Trooper. All 3 weapons are preset, so if you remove the sand based armor you can rock it as a slightly dirty Stormtrooper. Weathering is not as drastic as the original Sandtrooper release so it can work better as a Stormtrooper for sure.
