As part of our Week of NECA, we are going to be looking back at some of our past galleries. Each retrospective will include a theme. Yesterday we looked a the NECA’s Classic Video Game Series Figures and Tuesday’s theme was for NECA’s Retro Mego Figures. Today we go over the Ultimate 7″ Scale Figures as well as a few of their “Special Release” figures. The Ultimate 7″ Scale Figures is a current ongoing line from NECA.

Each Ultimate figure represents an iconic look for a character and includes numerous accessories. The figures come packaged in a collector friendly flapped window box. The line kicked off with an Ultimate A Nightmare on Elm Street Freddy Krueger Figure. It has continued with a few Terminator figures and more horror icons. This year the line grows with the release of figures like God of War’s Kratos, Nathan Drake from Uncharted and more.

So check out our galleries of the Ultimate Figures released so far. They’ve also done a few figures I’ve dubbed as Special Releases. These come in similar flapped window boxes and consist of a one off piece or a special version of a character. NECA has hinted we may see more pieces in this style come Toy Fair.
